Now I know you will all say that their is another set in progress similar to this, but I need this to be very low poly and I need it how I want, I am sorry if other CSC(Custom Scenery Creators) are annoyed with this but I need this...

The reason for posting this now is to get as many ideas from you all as possible. I want to know:
What you expect from this set.
How you want pieces changed/improved.
Future ideas and add-ons to this pack.Do not ask when it will be released, I just wont answer, it is done when it is done. Please, please, please keep on topic. I really hate people arguing and talking about irrelevant stuff in my threads.

Well I guess I should show you some pictures, the pictures are in order of my construction.

All current pieces:

I am hoping to make all textures recolorable but unfortunately I do not have a suitable program, so we will just have to wait and see. Recently a problem has arisen with the textures, I have been having trouble proportioning these properly due to some odd angles.

Triangle Count:

1h Block-12 Triangles
2h Block-12 Triangles
4h Block-12 Triangles
Medium Corner-60 Triangles
8h Slope-10 Triangles
Tall Slope-10 Triangles
Tall Block-12 Triangles

This already looks amazing! I'm glad you're serious about this set, as a full set of wood supports is something many, if not everyone wants badly. It doesn't matter if someone else is doing something similar, as the chances are that much better for one of them getting released. God knows how many people get far in to developing a set, then give up.

Oh, will the wood be colorable somehow? I realize wood colors on coasters are limited, but white, gray, red, black and brown would be great to alter between. Thanks for some great pics!

Thanks ThingMaker, I am hoping that they will be recolorable but I am having trouble making them recolorable. The cause of this is that I do not have any suitable graphics program.

Isn't yellow a recolourable texture anyway? can't remeber to be honest.

It's the third color. Blue ist the first and red the second, if I remember correctly.

Yeah but for some reason when I change the color it does not change as well as I hoped.

Tryed darkening/lightening the texture? (Can't remeber which way it is, sorry :p)

I will try fiddling with it and see where I get, thanks.

Is this supposed to look like the in-game supports?

This is great surfingoz! Using the in-game support texture is perfect, and those curved supports are a great idea.

As for the making the texture recolorable, is it an indexed image? Also my main suggestion for an addition would be for some small triangular pieces to put under the places were the track slants. Keep up the great work!

I'm really liking this set, surfingoz! Matching the game supports is a brilliant idea! Thanks!!

Wow, this is great stuff surfingoz! I have been waiting for some good curved supports for my wooden coasters. I can't wait to see the final product, and hope you get the recolorable issues fixed.

Very nice. I'm really glad to see you are expanding upon the in-game supports. Yeah, I know they aren't the greatest, but they ARE low poly and they do work...there was just a lot of things missing with them. Looks like you are going to fill those spots. Great job!

EDIT: Forgot to answer your questions!

I look at this set to blend in well with the in-game supports, so there's no need really to get rid of what's there already. Supports just for one track can add up to a huge number of pieces...and for the style of park maker I am I hate sucking up that many of the resources just for one ride. The more detailed supports people are working on will be more to the liking of those detailing a ride...I detail a park, so I am willing to compromise.

The current in-game supports often leave large areas hanging in mid-air...need to be able to tie those into the rest of the structure.

The current in-game supports are unrealistic because they don't have lateral supports.

As for suggestions...maybe some small angled supports to use where the track passes through the structure. Also sometimes the track doesn't seem to be really attached to the supporting structure...especially in hills. Not sure how to do it, but maybe a pair of beams just slightly wider than the track than parallel it through all the tracks angles. I'll try to take some screens when I'm in the game.

The current in-game supports are unrealistic because they are confined to a grid, thus have no curved supports for curved areas.

I would use the Gimp. Free program, and has a tool to make textures seamless.

Great start, echo what Wabigbear said. Love that you are creating low poly supports that look just like the in game ones. This is great for those of us that want to opdate our wooded coasters but don't have the polys need to do it without sacrificing other detail in the park. Nice job and good luck!

Yeah I ripped the texture from the game, so they should go seamlessly with the games supports.

Yeahs it indexed, but certain parts of the texture are white so they do not recolor as well as I hoped, I will compare with the in game supports.
I'm really liking this set, surfingoz! Matching the game supports is a brilliant idea! Thanks!!

Thanks NYRfan85, I think I should be able to fix it, it will just slow my process down but it can be done.

Thanks Pyro, hopefully I can get my textures to work as good as yours one day.

Yeah thats my plan to have a low poly set that is very versatile. I am hoping to not only add the slanted and other supports that attach to the side but I am now also planning on fixing the supports under hills etc. I also want to fix when a track passes through supports and leaves supports hanging pointlessly.

I cannot get an update for a little while as I have to go to school now.

Thanks for all the great comments and ideas.

thanks mate and welcome to the forums.

The texture will stay looking like the ingame one but for some reason the recolorableness(sorry for making up a word) stuffed up when I snatched the texture. It is starting to get better I have been adjusting it slightly and importing it and then fixing again. Sorry guys but due to my new site I got no progress to show again, I promise their is more to come soon.

Ok...just read about the texture problem and changing colours....and i was able with only a few clciks in the editing program i use, to change the colour to red, while kepping shadows etc in proportion-

If you like Surfingoz you can send me the texture and i can easily change it for you to any colours?

@Ryani210693: The texture need to be blue, purple or yellow. Not red. It also needs a special color-table.

Actually red is the first color, Green then Blue. Purple or yellow are in between colors and can have a weird result.
