Q: Will there be Japanese music in the game?

NB: Yes. But not songs. Would you guys like Japanese song inside?

DC: Yes we have the Japanese songs in the game but they are instrumentals only, no voice.

Not so sure....sometimes they say one thing and it's something completely different.....and why do they keep asking" Do we want Japanese music" ? They have to know we want both english and japanese tracks...not song's made by someone japanese not from the show.....hopefully, it's true and there not just made up not from the show music.

Whats you point? All the music is done by some japanese guy, even in tenkaichi two. Nothing new there.

We all know this already, it's been said in another thread, and it's in a sticky already. I guess it's okay if this is asking for peoples opinions though,
I don't really have an opinion on it. Great if it makes people happy, i don't really care for japanese music/voices, I'd much rather actually understand what they are saying.

My point is, that I dont trust Donny..
And if he says there will be japanese music in it.
We think that it will be the Japanese soundtrack from the anime.
But Im sure it's just Some random music done by a Japanese guy.. And in that way, Japanese music.

I don't think hes that stupid. But I know where your getting at, and you have a right to believe in that. But everything they've stated so far is true, why start doubting them now!

Well, the thing is, the person who asked the question should've been more damn specific and to the point! We've had this same issue before, anyone remember last year where they said "Yes, Japanese Music is in." when we found out it WASN'T?! And it was just Kenji Yammoto's works being counted as the Japanese music? Seriously, the question should have been formatted like this: "Are the original Japanese Dragonball Z/GT tracks in the game?"

You don't just flat out as if Japanese Music is in the game, that means more than just the Dragonball tracks. That means in general, is there any Japanese music in the game with which they kindly answered with a "Yes." Ryo, however, answered with what we DO want but in question form "Do you guys want that?" YES WE FRIGGEN' DO! That tells us flat out that it's not the music we want because of that question alone.

I'll be willing to bet anything that it was a n00b who asked that question. :downcast:

When the hell were these questions taken anyway? I would've gladly submitted more specific ones if I'd known about it way back...

Well they said not songs, but instrumentals. In the Japanese games you have songs, so I think they're actually reffering to the music from the Japanese games.

I think we've finally got what we've been after (not that I care, I've imported the past two anyway).

don't really think they're referring to the Original Soundtrack of the Series though... we've always had japanese music on the DBZ games.. they were made in japan by japanese guys so it's japanese music.. doesn't mean it's the actual DB music!

What you just explained doesn't make any sense. Why would Atari specifically ask about japanese music knowing that the producer who makes the music is japanese. I doubt the would want to fool us, they've been telling the truth so far, why lie now? By the way I'm positive they're referring that question to us over sea's. I swear, some of you people are to tentative about Spike.

Still, I loved the instrumental themes from the old scxhool DBZ games.
Hikari no Willpower in FB, and UB22 rocked. In fact, music was the only good thing about UB22.

Don't worry, you haven't gone unnoticed. I think its great, bruce faulconer does marvelous work. Id love to see his music in the next dbz game.

You funny guy. I do agree with your post though. I wish they did make the question more specific. But we can all assume that they are talking about the original japanese music. I'm saying this because they have supplied us with correct answers that go hand in hand with all the given information.

If SPIKE is for a fact also include the Japanese music for the NTSC-U/C release, I hope that they don't "ruin" the rest of the game with some lame, lazy-job 3D FMV opening.

its only the music for the song theres no one singing and its only going to be the one song we saw in the trailer from the japan site now this is a very close guess seeing how we never get the whole dam song like in the past budokai games but we will have to wait and see

OMFG THATS AWESOME. sorry for caps. A lil excited. I think the dbz game past tracks were very poor in a way ruined it. With the Jap tracks it's now going to play, sound, and feel more like Dragonball Z.
