:down:Does it feel like it is the the truest video game to the table rules of D&D? It seems to utilize the 3.5 core rules more accurately than any D&D game in the past. True?

Alright I find the 3.5 rules fine, but it doesnt seem like true dnd to me, when u exclude multi-classing you remove a major part of the game, even TOEE had multi-classing and u could only go to like lvl 10 in that game. Also there does seem like a lack of options, I expected more feats and skills, and the character appearance is not very good, the head choices rarely look like the portrait. At least in icewind dale/baldurs gate you could choose the colors of the hair, skintone, and clothing.

In terms of rules, yes I think it is like dnd and 3.5, but in terms of customization it is lacking. When I make a character in dnd I feel very attached to him/her, but in this game there is something missing in that connection.

I think it is partially due to the limitations of the PSP. I would love to see a game which utilizes the core rules like the PSP tactics but on a PC with a plethora of character customizing options available. It also just seems like Atari did't really give a **** about the graphics of the characters. Shame on you Atari. Get your act together man. I have been anticipating this game for a long time and you throw these DS looking graphics at me? BOO!:down::mad::mad:

Yeah, Atari dropped the ball yet again. I'm thinking they are on a downward spiral, cause this game could have been done much better. And yes a PC version should be able to do everything that this game should have, but would they have put in any more effort? probably not. We probably would have gotten the same again on the PC, and still be here complaining. Maybe i've just lost faith in Atari. I'm just glad this game is "playable" even though its not the complete experience i had hoped for.

as much as i am dissapointed in the crappy effort from the graphics department, i still can't wait to get off work so i can play D&D on my PSP! I hope some other company can take the D&D franchise and make the game all of us true D&D fans are waiting for. The complete package in a video game version. I will keep my fingers crossed, but in the meantime i think this will satisfy me for now.(i hope)
