Just so you all know, Chris Sabat (Vegeta) confirmed that the popular saying "It's Over 9,000" is in the game.
He also says that #18 calls Zangya a "SKANK"

OMG Really? Where was this said! I must have proof of where he said it! Please, let this be true! Over 9,000 is so freakin' funny! IT MUST BE IN THE GAME LIKE IT WAS IN THE ORIGINAL ANIME. I hope it's not the redub version...or anything like that one. ¬_¬

It is still fun even if not recoerded by the original voice actor
and it will make me have a good laugth

I'm on my Wii so I can't link right now but if you go to Youtube & search "Chris Sabat" you'll see a vid with him talking about One Piece. He mentions the 9,000 thing closer to the end.

Exactly. Because of getting used to the Drummond version, Sabat's voice-acting isn't nearly as "funny". :rolleyes:

I always thought Vegeta said over 8000
He says (in the re-dub) "It's over 8,000 no, wait It's over 9,000)
Chris Say that the translation for the script said 8,000 instead of 9,000.

I think he says that because it's a lot of characters & he does about 20 out of the 160 plus characters & he also directs the voice actors.

That is true,Funimation was not wroking on dbz at that time,I think it was a company called Ocean Group,they had different voice actors.:dbz3_2:

Even if he can't do it like Brian Drummond, just the fact that they're paying attention to this much detail for story mode, it's gonna be really close to the real thing. Lookin' forward to it.

Some of you may not get the "It's Over 9,000" thing but this is important because they really care about the fans when it came to this. People ask Chris Sabat to say "It's Over 9,000" at every convention he attends and people like Chris Sabat really pay attention to the Youtube fans & the fans they see on the street.

Lol interesting too read this In the suggestions thread for T3 I said I wanted them to have this scene in the game or else I wouldn't buy it.
I believe they are listening to the fans but there's so many ideas out there it's hard for them to pick out things that will please everyone.
Great job spike, tweak the gameplay a little more and the game will be perfect for me.

Well to be fair, it's kids who buy these games. Why bother being pre-cautious about something like that when it's going to be in the game that these kids will buy anyway?

I don't know what's so bad about it. Zangya acts kinda slutty and 18 says she's sexually promiscuous. My 7 year old cousins already know those words; it's really not a big deal.
About 9000, now there's a reason for me to use english voices :P but I do find it silly that everyone's drooling at Sabat when he didn't make the voice...

Ugh, I can't stand Chris Sabat. This video has pushed my dislike for him... ugh, screw it... "over 9,000!" Oh look Mr. I'll take every voice for all the cool characters and make them SOUND THE SAME used retarded to describe something, like a 15 year old.
Oh and for the record, the original line in the Manga/Japanese dub was "It's over 8,000!" Pioneer changed it and Drummond (probably my favorite English voice actor) immortalized it.
