I went on Wednesday. It was great. Cosmic Chaos is up and running again and Swingshot had both sides operating. Unfortunately, I think you missed the cut off date for the Gold Rusher. It closed on Friday. No one knows what Kennywood plans to do with it.

I dont like the gold rusher. It was pretty fun today. I went with my neighbor but one is terrified of almost all the rides and the other wont ride the phantom so i only rode it once with some weird guy. It started raining around nine but the lightening was cool.

Personally, I thought that Gold Rusher was truly horrible. I actually think they would keep it (at least the track) since they can't do much else with that second floor afaik.

Kennywood seems to be saying that something might happen with the GR's space, they just aren't saying what. Some of the scenes have already been removed and can easily be seen in the grass area near Raging Rapids. I believe demo of the interior will begin shortly.
