Why GT Goten and Not GT Vegeta?

As everyone knows GT Goten is the most requested person on the forums... but why? He wasn't that good in the show and I think GT Vegeta deserves the position more, these are the reasons why...

-GT Vegeta actually fought more and was more involved with the show than GT Goten

-GT Vegeta can turn Super Saiyan 4... can GT Goten do that?

-GT Vegeta CANNOT be an alternate outfit because he had different moves (Final Shine) and did not turn Super Saiyan 2 in the series

I'm not saying I don't like GT Goten, I just think Vegeta earns the place to be in this game more than him... maybe since there already having some good alternate costumes they can add GT Goten as Gotens outfit...:cool:

GT Goten does get more air time but Vegeta is more vital to the story well in his SSJ4 form anyway. GT Vegeta normal and SSJ is just as useless as Goten. Maybe if Regular Bebi was in the game then GT Goten would be a bad idea.

Are you serious about #3? Are you saying give Kid Goten GT Goten's moves? If you are, your outta ya mind? Goten's special because only he did those moves. Do you want Kid Goten and Buu Saga Gohan to do his energy shadow/whirlwind attack from bebi? It wouldnt work.

Your last idea just goes to show how ignorant you are. People are in favour of GT Goten rather than GT Vegeta simply because he's more unique. No matter what arguement you put up, my opinion still stands.

Either way, I still think both are fairly pointless without Baby's original forms (pre-Baby Vegeta forms). And since he's not going to be in, I choose neither (despite the fact I voted for GT Goten in the poll due to lack of a "Neither"/"None of the above" option).

Please try not to take my reply out of context. The guy had already made the Poll before you replied here, and it can't be changed back. So it makes no sense to start an argument for why there needs to be a 3rd option, I agree, there should be an option for 'Neither' (to make it fair), but since the poll has already been made, the best option is to not bother with the Poll itself.

First of all one move doesn't make the character different second of all every thing about gt goten is different from kid goten.Wow just because he has final shine oone different move besides that he's the same.For the record gt vegeta did go ss2.

Third of all gt goten can't be an alternate for kid goten what about the voice.

Fourth and final none of gt goten,and kid goten's moves were the same they were completely diferent gt goten had super kamehameha,and deception blaze.If you want to see how different the two goten's move's are check the first page of gt goten~appreciation thread~ made by P-Buddy.

Don't remember Vegeta going Super Saiyan 2 but sure post some images. I don't think I've actually seen a GT Vegeta moveset

Ok. I'll post it. We do agree but both of them need to be in. Too bad you didn't add a both option but it's cool. About the movelists some of vegeta's attacks are the same but....he does have new moves that make him different from the other forms. Also, the developers could always replace some old moves and make up new ones for him. So here is Base Form. I'll post both his SS1 and 2 forms too. As an Alternate Costume for Late Vegeta he WOULD NOT WORK because there's no space for SS4.

And you still fight back. No... perhaps "fight back" isn't the most appropriate choice of words here. You're still ignorant. Kid Goten and GT Goten have completely different attacks, as with Z Vegeta and GT Vegeta. Giving Goten moves he demonstrated only in GT would be a horrible idea; it's like giving End Vegeta Final Flash (seemed like the right analogy to use here, wouldn't you agree?). But like I said earlier, I'd rather not have either of them without Baby's original forms. Without them, it renders both GT characters pretty useless (Vegeta fought Super 17 for maybe two minutes and fought Syn/Omega in his SS4 state; I doubt you guys would want another character who did very little).

Also, for the sake of this thread, I believe we should stop. We (meaning the both of us) are getting nowhere by fighting.

2.There melee is completely different damage wise. Know why? It's ten years after dbz and vegeta never stopped training. So it would be incorrect to make Vegeta Gt the exact same strength as Vegeta Late...and Goku has a Gt form so SS4 can go with it, why not vegeta??

Making characters alts just so you can get more is just all around stupid, and wrong.

They have different moves.
Their melee has perfected over the years so they would have different combos, stronger attacks, and hit faster.
They have different alts.
GT Vegeta has SS4
GT Goten has a different voice.
GT Trunks is completely different than the other Trunks'.
GT Goten does not go Great Saiyaman and has a completely different attitude.

thats true but vegeta actually had moves in gt hes a lot more important. im my opinion dbz goten was a lot better than gt goten. goten actually fought a lot and did important stuff. gt goten wasn't really a main character. in some ways he might even be considered to be comic relief character. there should be base to ss4 vegeta . I think gt vegeta base should be able to go ss1, 2, 4, and fusion, and then baby vegeta 1 2 3 and 4 that should be all of gt vegetas transformations whenever he gets cut up he could have baby take over his body u'll see a cutscence of baby going into vegetas cut like android 13's super transformation where those pieces go into him, this would make gt vegetas character alot more intresting.

Its been awile since Ive seen Gt but if I recall they just changed his final flash to green and called it final shine and goten was just a pimp, which was cool and why I liked him but he was a useless fighter with no special moves.
