Surprised SF would sell MM, one of their biggest parks.
The article is dated 2006. Seems like late news.

Well, I heard that they might be putting more money into Great Adventure, to become their biggest and "flagship" park, because it has a lot of room to expand and it is in a prime location, middle of New Jersey, 45 minutes from Philly, and New York, and about 2 or so away from Baltimore.

Yeah, I heard about that in 06. But who knows, it might take awhile until someone buys it.

The article is very old news, and turned out not to be true, at least regarding SFMM. SFI sold 5 of their parks and kept SFMM. From all sources, SFMM is not on the market anymore, and SFI is working on improving the park.

I really hope what you say is true. I was pretty sure it was just talk.

Oh my it's been more than a year (just notice) I posted, because when I went over there a person said it was going to be sold. I tried to find an article to see if he wasn't lying, but he was.

Mark Shapiro said they would NOT sell Magic Mountain.
That article is very old.
I heard that he Mark said that now he has been thinking about selling it more then he did before. But it will take along time for some one to buy it.
