HELP ME!!!!!!

Ok, here's my story. I was playin aorund on youtube and I saw a cool ride and started building a whole structure and awsome ride. I noticed that even if i made a big room, it wouldn't be completly dark, so i tried to figure out how to make it dark. i found the dark ride set, but when i downloaded it and tried to run it, it said i needed ".ovl file extension". Will someone please help me!!!!!!
