Hey,I know some of you are in the industry in some way,or you have a lot of knowledge.
So,I have a few questions I would like answered.
1)Why on some launched coasters are there catwalks on the ride and are supported all the way up,then on some, there are no catwalks and are barely supported(Stormrunner,Xcelerator)
2) Who names rides, the manufacturer or the park?
3) Please Explain the Intamin and Intaride thing and why there are 2 names.

Thanks for the help!

The Park names the coaster.

The top hats on Xcelerator and Stormrunner are unsupported simply because they don't need to be. On the other hand, due to the size of TTD and KK, the top hats must be supported.

My guess as to why there are catwalks on TTD and KK is because, since there is somewhere to anchor them, it doesn't hurt to have one.

Intaride is an american based company but is still owned by INtamin, and Intamin is located in Swistserland/

A ride I know made by Intatride is Maverick.

The catwalks on the top hats of TTD and KK are there to rescue passengers should the train get stuck at the top. Stormrunner and Xcellerator don't go high enough to get stopped by the winds.

At least, I'm pretty sure...

On launched coasters it just is common sense to put catwalks to evacuate guests if in case the launch fails and the cars don't get enough power and get stuck somewhere.

ttd got stuck on the top hat and they didn't take guests off. i always thought that they were for maintenance.

Frankly if TTD were stuck at the top, I don't want to get off, I'm afraid of heights.

If you're going to provide a spelling lesson, might I suggest:

they're
legend
those (without a trailing s)
coasters
ancient
at least
that's
it's

So, the sentence should come out looking like: Well, they're both very big coasters, and I will quickly tell you the legend of both those coasters. Those coasters are both named after ancient warriors, and those warriors are really big. At least that's what the legend says.
Oh, and one more thing, it's Behemoth.

Just trying to help!

My attempt at a subtle point was that, if someone's going to post a message correcting someone else's spelling, that someone really should make an effort to avoid any spelling mistakes in that message.

Naturally, typees (er, uh) tipos (um, hang on) typos (hey, got it! and only the 3rd try!) can happen anywhere to anyone, and can even be missed in rereading. When providing corrections, however, it is probably a good idea to use extra care.
