Going to Kings. (Trip Report, post 4)

Yeah, I'm going to tommarow. I guess I should have made a thread earlier.. but I just thought of it now. I've been to Kings, but I still have alot of questions.

Okay, well first, is it going to be packed? I'm going on Labor Day Weekend. But on Sunday, I am going to the park at 5 until close. I don't expect it to be packed, but who know's. Then, I'm going all day on Monday. Will it be packed then? I hope not, because I always thought parks aren't that packed on Labor Day, mostly because CP is never that packed.

Another question is if SOB has a long line, is it worth waiting for? Because unlesss it is smoother, I won't go on it. Does anyone know if it's a more enjoyable ride and smoother one?

Should I waste my time going on Vortex? . I've heard it's bumpy, but then again, it depends on how your body works. The coaster looks kind of Painful, but I don't know that for sure.

When I first arive at the park, is there any specific ride I should go on first that may have a long line during the day? Like say Firehawk or the Italian job ride.

Answers appreciated, and any other useful advice!

P.S., I'm talking about Kings Island if you guys didn't know.

1. No.. it shouldnt be TOO packed. It will have a decent amount.. but nothing crazy.

2. SoB is worth waiting for purely for the credit. Its not too bad.. but judging by what you've ridden.. it will be towards the top.

3. Its not too bad. Its been on and off for me.. so I dunno. If you want on it.. do it.

4. BEAST! Hit Beast first.. back of the park.. no1 will be there. When I went.. I coulda rode 10 times with no line.

Hahah like the Villian? Then yeah, it probably won't be bad. I don't think Corkscrew and Beast or Meanstreak are bumpy either! :p

I would have recommended going to Firehawk, then Flight of Fear, then Italian Job as those are the slowest loading coasters in the park, so it's helpful to ride them before their lines grow. Beast's line moves rather well, so it can wait a little bit, but is convenient to ride right after Italian Job.

When I was at the park on a Saturday a couple of weeks ago, I managed to ride 5 coasters within the first hour, before crowds started getting into the coaster lines. Things slowed down quite a bit after 11. For ACE members, the ACE walkback is also very helpful.

I actually followed your idea. The first day (sunday after 5) it was pretty packed. We didn't get on the Beast, Italian Job, Flight of Fear, and Firehawk. We got on everything else though.

On Labor Day, it wasn't so bad. We actually went straight to Firehawk. They weren't letting people in line, so we went on Flight of Fear. Got on it two times in a row. That was a really fun coaster. Then after the second time on fof, we went on Firehawk because they were finally letting people in the line. When we got in it, it broke down so we got out of line. We got on the Italian Job because it had a short line, then right after that we got on the Beast. A walk on =D. Unfortunately, Tomb Raider was closed the 2 days we went there, and I was PISSED. I was REALLY looking forward to that ride =[ Oh well. But it was really fun.
