I found this coaster in Austria, a Vekoma Boomerang, that does not use OTSR. The trains are not built by Vekoma though. I thought this was interesting. Your thoughts. http://rcdb.com/ig1093.htm?picture=21

This coster is from 1992 but i don't know if the trains are new, ( they look like a rip off of TTD's trains)

Yes, the trains are new. Brand new, in fact... just about six weeks old now. The new restraints are supposedly very comfortable, even though they have minimum padding.

No more headbanging, I guess.. but that doesn't stop the smashing of the back of the skull on the seatback I experience on boomerangs of that sort.... add to that a metal lapbar with no padding? Ouch. Ouch ouch ouch. NO thank you.

Sure, the trains are a shiny rip-off of Dragster... but if you put something shiny on a piece of crap... you've still got the piece of crap to deal with.

Though they don't look too inviting, I would still give them a shot if I could.

Some way they remind me of Drachen Fire.

Just look at that picture. You have to bend over just to hang out. And metal right across your belly, no thank you.

It looks like your poking your hands in to the metal. And those handel bars are way to short. i would not what to hang on to those things.

They look way better than the OTSR. I think those trains would make the Boomerang fun again!

You've got to be kidding me. Did theay really stick those on a shaky ride such as the Boomerang?? It'd be like getting punched in the gut for 60 seconds...

The trains are too TTD-ish, too. However, they would have a great view over the side, with basically nothing blocking the view.

The trains are too TTD-ish. It's the rollercoaster equivalent of a lightly polished piece of poo.

Ermm...you might want to tone that down a little, don't you think?:down:

/\ yes, I know. I didn't find your original comment funny though, just crude. I warned you because you may receive an infraction for that kind of comment. You ought to change it really.
