just out of curiosity, i was wondering if anybody excited about TDU2? you know, the SUV's, 2400km stuff. i can hardly wait until march 2008.

Err you kinda kind of tell since this is a TDU forum people would be excited. Also this is a huge topic about TDU 2 among others, so you kinda know.

Yeah, I'm pretty pumped, but I'm also pumped for Halo 3 and PGR4, not to mention that I'm pretty into R/C's right now, so am busy with them and homework.

March 2008? Not likely to happen unfortunately. Most likely late 2008 or early 2009 for TDU2. No pics or announcement yet from Atari or Eden.

Definitely the game I'm looking forward to the most though. Next to quite a number of other games.

Everything he said is just the same rumors that's been circling the net for months now. No date is set, nothing is even known about the game, or if there is even going to be one.

Personally i think we shouldn't be holding our breaths anytime soon....

i'd love to have SUV's in the game as well as trucks, it would make the gameplay different instead of just driving the same supercars all the time

Late 2008/Early 2009. They're in the whole "go-to-where-ever-they-chose-to-set-the-game" process of taking pictures as far as I've heard.

actually the only time i will look forward to it is if they spend more time on it and listen to us about the problems we had in TDU1. if they do that then it should be a pretty awesome game

This is Eden Games official forum for their TDU, so I'd bet out of curiosity they occasionally check out some posts to see how their "baby" is still being received. I'm sure they may have stumbled onto some of the TDU2 ideas, and will hopefully consider what the fans want, since we're the ones who bought the game so they can make a sequel.

do you mean bugs like: places you arent supposed to get to or something that might be cool to someone like me? if so please tell me about them.

I am really excited for TDU 2! I can't wait to see all the new cars, and the off-roading will be awesome too (if included)!

Can't be excited about a game that hasn't been announced to officially exist yet. So, I'm gonna go with no for now. Ask me again when it's been announced they're making it. :D

I'm excited about the prospect of TDU2. But as for the game itself, we kno nothing so what can we get excited about. Offroad, 2400km is all just gossip.

Besides the positions wanted at Eden games for a TDU related project, here's the closest thing to indicate TDU2's possibly in the works,

If Atari wants me to buy TDU2 they better make it worth my time. I want credit from Atari for all who have purchased the original game. The credit would include 5 free DLC's based on gamer download history. I think that if you downloaded any DLC's before 2008, you should be entitled to the free DLC packs since they defaulted on the monthly packs. Seems fair to me.

You would also think they would post in the regular threads and give us more info since this is a site dedicated to them and their games, but that doesn't happen either, so I would expect a TDU2 to have just as many issues as TDU does, which is pretty sad really. With a little conversation between creators/players, a TDU2 could be a very bad-ass game, but since they refuse to involve us (other than maybe trolling threads for bits of information) , I won't be expecting much IF TDU2 does come about.:mad::down:

Halo 3 sucked. PGR 4 was awesome. And I waiting for Burnout paradise and Turok.

TDU (1) has been out for well over a year, and while is not perfect (no game ever is), it is a finished porduct. And DLC 6 was its last release.

omg i want that game so bad! but the freaking red light comes on every now and then on my xbox. :( :( :( so not only do i not have enough money for the game itself, but now i might have to get a new 360. which will kill me. :( but i do want that game so freaking bad!!!

ya i hope so. im thinking the new warranty will cover it. cuz we had it for like a year and half two years. and i checked and it said something about three red lights is covered for three years. i think it is just overheating cuz my brother plays from like one in the afternoon to five or six everynight. lol its pathetic, and am NOT exaggerating. :bulb:
