I'd like to know what that lady was saying...

The one thing that I've always hated about Disney (and any park for that matter) is those stupid mascot characters.

The Pluto was fired for reacting unprofessionally, as Cast Members who portray characters are trained so they know how they're SUPPOSED to handle the situation.

He would not have been fired if he would have left the situation alone, but instead he chose to add more fuel to the fire.

The kid and his family, however, did not get off that easily...

The Tigger incident was an example of what you ARE supposed to do in that kind of situation. Though Tigger popped the teen in the head (he paid a fine for that), you are supposed to take action against the guest so the costume is not tampered with. The kid was trying to unzip Tigger's costume, and appropriate action would have been to gently but assertively push the perpetrator away.

Glad to hear that. A lot of people are quick to put all the blame on Disney when things like this happen, but I find the guests (kids/teens/adults) are usually the ones to blame.

...though I do believe in this instance the employee should have handled it a bit better.

I guess he was tired of his job.
