Here's a thread to post any Disneyland secrets, or interesting stories regarding backstage, mishaps, or normal operations . Share your stories, and your reactions to them!

For example: On Indiana Jones: Temple of the Forbidden Eye, the 30's themed lights strung throughout the queue are lit to full brightness when the ride breaks down.

This site is a list of Disney fun facts.

Here's one of my favs. The main street is the only area in the park to use black pavement. Why? So guests keep moving so the entryway doesn't get bottlenecked by people.

When Indiana Jones and the Temple of the Forbidden Ride broke down while I was riding it, I had to walk through the ride back to the entrance. After you first enter the section with all the skeletons, there is one skeleton with a mickey moush cap on it.:)

See if you can find it next time you ride!

If you look behind you in the 'projector room' on Indy, you'll see the old Eeyoore car park sign, of which that attraction was built on!

Also, next time you're in Disney's Hollwood Studios, go to the Indy Stunt Show, and to the left of the entrance there's a well with a rope and a sign saying 'Don't pull' (with the "n't" crossed out!). Pull it! There's a fun surprise!

There's a key under a mat where the ticket booth is in the queue on MuppetVision 3D at Disney's Hollywood Studios.

Michael Eisner's house.

Incorrect.

It doesn't go anywhere.

Incorrect.

It doesn't go anywhere.
Mostly because it is glued to the ground.

I seen a Hidden Micky by the parking lot of the Magic Kingdom of WDW. I saw it from the sky. It's near by a race track?

LOL.

No, that's not a Hidden Mickey, but what you saw was the Mickey print on the Richard Petty Driving Experience range.

Here's another interesting tidbit: Every 18 seconds, a troop transport is sent into the show building at Indiana Jones: Temple of the Forbidden eye. I counted myself.

The entire park is powered by the souls of tortured orphans who weren't loved in life.
Fact.

If you pull one of the spikes in the queue of Indiana Jones in DL in CA, spikes come down from the ceiling. It used to be automatic but now you have to activate it. That pull thing at the Indy Stunt Show is in Dl CA's queue too.
Edit: I have uncovered some articles related to the demise of Sub Voyage.

Edit the Edit:There is a silhouette of Eeyore in a dark corner of the projection room in California. This was a tribute to the Eeyore section of the parking lot which the ride was built on.
The droids in sector 2 of the Star Tours queue in California are two of the Splash Mountain geese that left the pack of animatronics before America Sings was over.
