It is true they've had enough of spending money on it fixing it and they would be better off getting rid of it and get build a new coaster and pull in more crowds. I'm pretty mad because today I was there and saw that from the end of the inversions to the end of where the s-bends were gone.

lol I was there today as well and I talked to a Six Flags employee that told me that someone came up to Six Flags and offered 300 grand for the ride and they took it. So it's not being demolished but relocated to another park not owned by Six Flags.

I read somewhere that one of the workers said they were taking the ride down carefully to not damage it. Maybe it is moving somewhere. I love SFGA but I don't really care for this ride. I hate shuttles for one.

I hope SFGADV keeps up their originality, and doesn't stoop down to remaking a Mind Eraser, or Boomerang, etc.

Very high depreciation. 300,000 doesn't include extremely high dismantle/transport/re-construction costs however.

Yea, I've seen this coming for a while now. I've mentioned it many times, that I thought this would be Great Adventure's last attempt at saving this coaster(s). It didn't work out, so I guess it's time to move on.

Heck, there's already rumors of an enclosed Mack coaster themed to the new Batman movie coming to the park next year. ...so I guess they really are moving on.;)

Um.... S:TE wasn't being shopped around for $100,000. The posting on that site was a mistake. What was meant to be posted was the Freefall ride at SFMM. Note that the site changed the for sale notice the very next day when notified of the error.

That looks more like it's being taken apart rather than demolished so I'm guessing it's moving somewhere else.

Heading to SFGADV in 2 weeks for Frightfest, to much of a scary ride, and I hope somthing better gets put there like a darkride, or another coaster.

The Chiler is being moved. I think it's going somewhere in either pennsylvania or ohio. I know it was bought by a private company so it can't be Cedar Fiar that purchased it.
