Really, none of us can be 100% positive that what Ryo said was a lie, nor can we be sure what he said was the truth. The only one who might know is Ciel, but if she did, I'm sure she wouldn't be able to tell us.

i remember hearing some what if sagas n characters never before seen. (What Ifs). So characters like DB Krillin should be in the game cause Nam, #8, and the old piccolo is in it. It won't make sense if he's not.
