Yeah thats why I like watching GT in Japanese rather than dubbed. I like the dub and all because there were'nt really any edits besides profanity and the actors were good, but the music just made it seem totally different. That titlecard theme for the GT(Japanese) episodes is stuck in my head lol.

Bannings and infractions are happening because of members constantly posting irrelevant information or being rude/breaking rules. It's not that hard to follow the rules and for those that don't do that they can either be banned or leave, simple as that. Ciel, Timothy2035 and other mods are getting tired of the constant decline in quality post made by members and have said this in both post and threads. Yet several members continue to act childish by jumping down each others throat, derailing threads/topics with trivial arguments, posting old/false information, or simply spamming with either two word responses or pointless post out of boredom. I'm glad to see the bannings, hopefully it will make room for some quailty discussion since the game's release is right around the corner.

If you're not doing anything wrong you have nothing to worry about, if you are you deserve to be banned simple as that.

AVI DBZ master and GT Fan were banned because of general flaming, trolling.

gkrt was banned... well, you have to come to the DBZ CC. He tried flaming the mod Timothy2035. Even though I agree Timothy is a bad mod, flaming him like that was asking for a ban.

SSJ5Vegeta, asked to get banned, but the mods wouldn't let him. So he started flaming, bypassing swear filter, using illegal software, etc.

That may be because Dread seems to deal with more serious issues. In this section its just "Stop the name calling", "Stop spamming", "Dont quote images".

u_s. Most members can tell a member form there posting style. If something like that did happen your friends would alert the mods. And I believe Admins can check IP Addresses.

V3 wanted to get banned, since he was going to leave this forum. Since the mods didn't ban him by request, he started cursing/spamming/trolling, and then he got banned (permanently).

V3 wanted to get banned, since he was going to leave this forum. Since the mods didn't ban him by request, he started cursing/spamming/trolling, and then he got banned (permanently).

Honestly, a mod will come to close this eventually so why not just talk about it anyways? There's really nowhere else to talk about it... besides, when do we ever get the chance to say what we think of someone behind their backs and not being able to post back? Almost never. I'd like to think of this as a chance more so than lack there of.

gt fan- I didn't really like this guy much. From the first day he started posting, he was already getting on my nerves. Not because of his lack of intelligence, but because of his constant off topic posts and spam. He didn't contribute anything to the discussion at hand only to change it to another topic. For example, people would be talking about Vegeta's Final Flash and how it should be changed to something more flashier and he'd come in there and say "yeah dat would be kool but wht about cheese?" (not a REAL sentence he said but that's how he usually started getting off topic).

He didn't really give himself much to say, it felt like he wasn't going to bother sharing his opinion other than saying "yeah. kay. kool." every other sentence. He just agreed with anything that other people agreed upon. Basically, he didn't make an opinion for himself and just followed the crowd. And when he DID say something that was HIS own opinion, it was negative. He especially, went into detail on why he was negative about it but, of course, was the same consensus as everyone elses opinion on the matter.

So, really, he wasn't a valued member in my mind. If anything, he was just troublesome to talk to and get him to understand something. It was like talking a brick wall...

Avi- Honestly, always detested this guy in every way. He did nothing BUT complain. At any chance he got, not once did he really say anything noteworthy of any greatness. He wasn't a valued member, in fact, he caused a lot more trouble than he did contributed to the discussion at hand. Avi allowed himself to say ANYTHING he could negatively about the discussion at hand. Even when you TRIED to explain something to him to get him to shut up about what he was saying, he'd come up with another excuse for why he has to say it or make up something that he apparently noticed but wasn't actually true.

He just caused trouble and was just ignorant. In my eyes, he wasn't great, if you got along with him great! I applaud you for being able to talk to someone about as sensible as a piece of grass. He had only one single thought, he wasn't EVER open minded. He just kept anything that was reason or sensible out of his mind because he wanted to believe what he believed in. As commending him for that isn't a good quality. As far as I'm concerned, he had no good redeeming qualities one way or the other.

Avi just started trouble and I'm glad he's gone. Saves me the trouble of stopping chaos from occurring in a thread whenever he posts in it with his intelligence or lack there of.

gkrt- He wasn't here long and I didn't really talk to him much like I did the two before him. He was very opinionated and wouldn't back down from supporting his thoughts despite being derogatory and overall a bad person. His only redeeming quality was the fact that he could process a thought that was legible versus the other two before him. gkrt got what was coming to him after seeing him with my own eyes countlessly arguing with people on opinions.

He just hated others who didn't agree with him IIRC. Not my type of guy I'd like to be around personally.

Flame2K- He was a particularly interesting person. At first, he seemed to hot headed. Like, everything he said was what everyone wanted. That was only half true, I had argued a lot with him simply because there were more factors pointing to what he was saying not being true at all but just his opinion. I think he let certain things get to his head too. His knowledge of DBZ was good though and I watched him debate in a thread about who was stronger. He knew his stuff quite well in that area, but in others, his blemish was showing quite a bit. And when it popped, he just got out of control and got banned.

His ill temper was what got him in the end. He was one of the intelligent people out of the three I talked about before him. However, his temper got the best of him and like gkrt, got banned because he didn't nbecessarily like people who disagreed with him. It looked to me that he was agitated a lot on here. For whatever reason, I don't know, he just was. His only redeeming quality was that he was open minded to IDEAS but not to opinions.

SSJ5Vegeta- What's there to say? He was intelligent however, opinionated and kept on preaching that the PS3 would be the definitive experience for DBZ as though he KNEW it was going to happen if the developers pushed themselves enough. If anyone disagreed with him he would argue back anyway and basically make you feel irritated to an extent because his opinion was NOT as Godly as he may have thought it was. I always felt he was full of himself a lot of the time and other times he should some sense. But, overall, he let what he said get his expectations high to the point of being disgusted what Spike did with BT3. And honestly, who WAS expecting some huge leap with this game? Not me! I expected the same updates they did from BT1 to BT2. He on the other hand, was expecting something greater than that because he felt that Spike wasn't doing justice to the franchise which they really were.

I overall felt that he was just convoluted. That means he was just complicated and complex. He wanted many things, expected great things, and look where it got him. Disappointed and basically, saying that his ideas were how a DBZ game should be where there might be things people disagree with, wholly in Japan as well. He felt that the Atari Forums was the world, it was evident from what he kept saying. Using the words 'we', 'us', and basically any other words that grouped everyone together as though we DID agree with everything he said. This was not the case at all, at least for me.

In short, he was a good member for a time and I saw his good intentions. But, he just let everything get to his head, especially when it came to the opinions of n00bs. He let them make him leave which he shouldn't have done. If you want your opinion to be embraced, you can't back down from it, no matter who tells you what or how wrong you are. It's your opinion, it's your job to support it despite it's shortcomings or negativity that surrounds it. You created it and you need to protect it, to put it simply. He supported it, but, gave up. Not the way to go about things, IMO.

Jin- Can't say anything. Funny guy, but, not someone you really want to hang out with much. There are other guys like him and I just don't appreciate those who belittle everyone elses opinion. Thinking that a small group of people's opinions are better than everyone elses (as an example basically of how it was). In short, decent member but had an attitude that just spelled "GTFO MAI INTARWEBS". :p

Those are my thoughts on the bannings. Jin, gkrt, gt fan, Flame2K, and Avi deserved their bannings. SSJ5Vegeta wanted to be banned so really, his ban is just as justifiable as the others. He just goes into a special place since he seemed to keep his cool at times. But, as they say, the more you hide those feelings the more you let them take you over. At least, that's how I felt he ended up being in the end.

I talked to TheFlame2K alot and as a matter of fact, Flame2K didnt do anything. Marby thought that he was this other member named DemonKing or something like that and DemonKing was banned a while ago so that is why 2K got banned. I was pretty pissed of when I heard the story from his side. He is my best Atari buddie and now he is permantely banned. :mad:
