problem with ST.. can anyone help

I have recently purchased another 520STFM off of ebay as it came with a lot of games, this one i think maybe slightly older as it has yellowed more and the case design around the internal floppy drive is different to my other 1.

what the problem is my castle master game corrupted and would not load but luckily the new purchased console and games i bought had this game in it i tried to load it on the new console i have just bought and it lets you choose the character but then stays on loading, but it will load on my original console, at first i thought maybe the floppy drive in my new console wasnt a double sided drive so i swapped them over and it still will not load but will load in my original console that now has the floppy drive from the newly purchased ST.

So it cant be the drive, it must be the console, they are both 520's so it cant be the ram, i am just lost for ideas.

If any of you have any ideas i would love to hear them

I'm at a loss as well. Different versions of TOS maybe that would make the game to fail out? I would contact the eBay seller and ask if he or she had a similar problem and if they have any ideas.

as for TOS, the machine that it will play on is 1985 version but the new ST it is a 1987 version and the game was made in 1990 so it should play on both units.

I have already asked the seller and he said that he knows it played it as he used to play it and it was one of favourite games, so i really have no idea.
