don't you think I'm right? this thread isn't about story mode (that we know is terrible), what if characters (that we know aren't in), over 30 new stages (that we know are the same but with day/night feature just this), etc...:mad:

it's about the possibility of a feedback by spike on the whole situation. In this moment I feel like an idiot because they thought while making the game:

"they'll buy it for sure, no matters what we put in, we don't even need to improve it a lot"

all we got are more or less 20 new characters....2 or 3 new moves.....and stop!!!!!!

I can still remember the GIANT difference i found out between bt1 and bt2. they seem totally different. but now bt2 seems even better than bt3.

SPIKE ALSO LIED TO US MANY TIMES (especially on what if characters, what if fusions) so I guess now we deserve an explication from them.

Developer diary n. 5 can go to hell for me, they should do a FORGIVE US DIARY!!!! instead of still answering to stupid question and continue to lie to us. don't you agree?! :mad:

sure these are the main events of the saga not the most wanted or important fights. I still think that a vegeta vs rekoom fight for the fans is one of the greatest. I mean in that situation he was less powerful and still beat the ass of rekoom. so what makes spike think that goku vs rekoom is more important than vegeta vs rekoom?

no good story mode, of the 20 new characters only 5 or 6 please me the others don't, 5 new stages not my favourite ones, now saiyans can turn oozaru only in night stages instead in bt2 everywhere, this means that you can play only 5 or 6 stages with saiyans that can't use power ball to make them turn oozaru!!! maybe bardock can't go oozaru in the space stage :(

2) I guess bardock's story is even bad right? how is that?

right now I think i'm not going to spend 60 euros/dollars to buy this failed game and wait for a ps3 tenkaichi4

Its now really messed up. Ive played Bardock´s part in the `Movies` saga and omg its short ! You first fight with Bardock vs a soldier, then vs Appule, then vs Cui and to finish it up, you defeat Frieza ! Thats really NOT like the story......

Well I'm glad you agree bardack:) I really cant say anything about the gameplay of the game cause I haven't played it yet. But as a DBZ fan I don't care what the cost is I'm just glad its here.

i think they did a pretty good job! the story mode lacks a good number of important fights for the story to be understood in it's whole (the first example is Yamcha VS Saibamen) but the way they did it it's original and there's interactivity... i like it!

the gameplay as we can see from the videos and those who have played can tell you it's refined and well tuned... something everyone wanted!

the separate characters look awesome (different stages of Goku and Piccolo) and the alts they added are outta this world.. just crazy good!

the fact that the lower class saiyans can only transform when there's a full moon it's realistic and pretty well thought... and that transformation is the best!

it's true that this game was without doubt rushed in it's development but you have to know that the PS2 is dying with the next-gen consoles rising! PS3's price is going down in Portugal and a lot of people will start to get it and the producers will have to pay more attention to next-gen games instead of being stuck in PS2...

overall i like the game, though i haven't played it, and the fights aren't over in 2 mins.. they take 5 or more to get beaten..

Vegeta vs. First Form Freeza
that fight is in, it's fused with all the other fights Freeza had with Vegeta, Gohan, Krillin, and Piccolo, from form 1 to form 4... (And you could probably fuse the two Zarbon fights into one anyway, because of the new way story mode works, along with Vegeta vs. Recoome being fused with Goku's Recoome fight)

And anyway, you have over looked the most important part of the game, the GAMEPLAY! Story mode is kool (a favorite of mine), but you can easily re-enact the battles in duel mode (another favorite), and the gameplay has improved immensely... I'm sure it does have "unlimited gameplay", factoring in World Tournament, Duel Mode, all the hours you'll spend playing with friends, getting 100% in EVERYTHING (not just story), etc.

I love it, will people stop complaining i mean no matter how good the games ever get there will always be problems with "i didn't get this" and things like that. Lets see...compared to BT1 and 2's story mode its alot better. The way the battles are handled as one big saga battle, instead of seperate ones that were just spaced out like filler. I mean think about it, its alot better to have one big long battle with all the important events taking place within it. The only reason alot of the battles were divided into individual fights is to make the game seem longer. Story mode wise anyway.

Now while there are some battles that have been left out, as a whole its alot more fun than the BT2 story mode. That just seemed to drag on after awhile. So as far as Sparking series games go, Meteor/BT3 is the best.

You are right about that as foar as Sparking Series go, but Tenkaichi is suppose to go beyond Dimp's Budokai and they haven't. Where is the point in making new games if they can't outbeat the previous? And by that I'm talking about Budokais vs. Budokai Tenkaichis in particular Budokai 1.

You are right about that as foar as Sparking Series go, but Tenkaichi is suppose to go beyond Dimp's Budokai and they haven't. Where is the point in making new games if they can't outbeat the previous? And by that I'm talking about Budokais vs. Budokai Tenkaichis in particular Budokai 1.

Well im sure that if they put the game through more development time, they could've truely made a excellent story mode. But as of now its not really terrible. Besides Dimps even makes better Sonic games than Sega does...at the current time anyway. They are really competent developers. The only thing I didnt like about the older games was how you had to equip your moves rather than already know them.

You guys complain to much. Storymode isn't short. I think the problem is that you guys are not activating the cutscenes and since the subtitles are in japanese, yu just skipped oblivious not knowing japanese

Man so much complain, but what did you do? You bought it anyways! Who cares about the story mode? You saw the anime, you read the manga (some of you), you saw the story modes from Budokai to Tenkaichi 2, so what's the point of the story mode. IMO I think it's better this way, that way we don't have to waste time unlocking ****. And before you ask, no I'm not a Tenkaichi fanboy and I hate Spike. Will I get the game? Yes. Will I like it? Yes! And maybe a million more people might too. Some of you maybe just wanted too much (like me, but am I complaining? NO!) and expected too much from Spike, since from the beginning you knew Spike was not gonna do any good. But what about the gameplay, the transformations, the UB? Some of you asked for the Accel Dance and did you get it? Yes. Did you get the Universal Spirit Bomb? Yes! Did you get GT Goku and a few more DB characters? Yes!! Did you get Future Gohan and improved characters? Yes. God, Spike even had the "guts" to even put some short cutscenes on some UB's (Like Broly for example). Honestly I don't know what's to complain about. From the videos that I saw, yes the story mode seems short, but really, the sagas were really just a few long fights, in which every episode a small thing happened.

I'm not mad or anything, but c'mon, stop complaining and just enjoy it for crying out loud, how many games have you created?.....Exactly.

Man, I guess some of you who complain just wanted too much, but there's another DBZ game coming out for the PS3 (I heard) so my guess this isn't the very last game they're ever gonna do, who knows what other company might do. So can't you just appreciate what Spike did, sure some of you may dissapointed, but the story mode isn't the most important thing in the entire game.

I like to play the story mode.. But get used to playing story mode in BT2 then go to BT3 is a disapointment (it's true).

If they said that there would be what if characters, they should do it and not making like people that promise all and do nothing (this is politic now?)

The graphics are better and some moves but that is it. Period... Nothing more!!

The changes arent that big but the game is an improvement compared to his predecessor.

In away they didn't really lie to us. They made us to believe things that weren't really true. Like some of you said, when they said 40 hours of gameplay we thought they meant storymode. And over 20 new stages we thought they meant they didn't count day and night. So we can't blame them for lying, but they did it in a way like car commercials do. They have all of these good things in HUGE print, then in the small print they have the truth.

lol, i aint disapointed in the game at all. i wanted improvements to the battle system and more unique moves, they gave me this so all is good. you should know not to raise your hopes by listening to what games developers and publishers say, it doesn't ever end up the way they say it will :downcast:

Well, to be honest, my hopes for this game weren't very high, so I;m pretty satisfied. I'm just glad they made a third part with online capabillities!!
