I've decided to start to new set called Coaster Stuff.
Its gonna include many handy parts to dress up your station to make it more realistic. I got 1 part done:

These look really good. I know they're just extremely shiny because of bloom [right?]
And I'm hoping that for the faces you mean the entire setup, not just one piece, and I'm not one to criticize the face count because I'm never really sure what too much is.
But besides that, looks great.

2400 are still too much. A single pipe needs only 10 faces. 8 for the pipe and 2 at the ends.

It's to late to reduce em al now. That would take ages. Only the straight object is 2400 faces. The rest is 200, 650 and 1300. :D

Too late, or too lazy?

Won't be using them if the faces are too high and you're too lazy to fix 'em.

The circles seens to have more than 8 segments. 8 are enough.

Pretty good. I agree with the others though, watch the poly's.

Also, coasterman20076 is working on something similar. You two may want to get together and collaborate your efforts.

The whole object has 1000 faces now.

You need about half that or less. Good luck:bulb:

I finally got them reduced to 650.
If i go any more down the circels would look like triangels. Check the first pic for the ingame pic.

Looks pretty good. I do have a few questions though....

1. The height of the contorl panel looks a little low. Can you show it in-game next to a peep so we can see how tall it is?
2. Based on your Sketchup image, it looks like this has full tile (centered) placement.... can you make it quarter tile as well?
3. Are the red and green lights recolorable? If not, can you make it that way?
4. Is it possible to make the motitor/screen on the console a billboard? That way people can customize it based on the ride it belongs to.

Lemmie' know what you think.

1. Sure Here's the ingame pic: LINK (http://aycu25.webshots.com/image/31144/2005687738415876384_rs.jpg) LINK (http://aycu12.webshots.com/image/32691/2002707087133777899_rs.jpg) They also have an extra object the station floor :D
2. Yes there's a side one and a quater-tile one.
3. I've tried but ingame they all show up in white. I can pick colors but they stay white.
4. To bad. I cant make billboards :(

Thats because the textures arent recolorable. The textures needs special color tables. Like this textures have:

well if your still taking requests all i want and wanted for so long was the chain lift covers and you made those..... sadly only for wooden coasters.... but if you make them for steel do you think you could make something like this...http://s213.photobucket.com/albums/cc106/vondroff1/?action=view&current=gasm2-1.jpg..... ive tried to make one of these anti-rollback things for so long and i cant get it to look good, maybe you can do better, it would help lots, and i'm so happy ive found someone who loves the dress up their chainlifts just as i do. it would be nice if the covers and anti rollback system could be made: Gentle, Flat, and Steep.

You should just use a texture of a control panel instead of all the 3D elements as a low-poly version.
