coasterman20076, welcome to the wonderful (and oftentimes frustrating) world of CS creation. You've been asking a few questions lately, most of which have answers in tutorials and guides already written. I know it's a pain sometimes to search for and read through them, but that's what they're there for.
There are a lot of stickied posts at the top of the CS forum, and Vodhin.net has a LOT of great articles, including ones dealing with transparency (which is what you want for glass...be warned that glass isn't perfect in CS). Please take some time to read through them. Not only will you find answers to your questions, but you'll probably learn some extra stuff that you'll end up needing to know later as well.

Whilst making the model, it is pointless adding a transparent texture at all, this can only be done in the importer, technically addind textures in sketchup is pointless, if you are comfortable to make items that the textures do not map, it is only a visual representation, as long as areas are grouped correctlly, you can totally skip that step

sorry but I think you would be better off if found a texute of a jukebox front, instead of trying glass cause generally most of the time it x-ray and texture behind it might not ever been seen. I have been playing around for months trying to make a single piece of glass that 1.does not x-ray 2.texture exploding when zooming in or out. If go to vodhins, not sure if you can see the modding development forum. There is much input from Vodhin and others about this, and I will say so far perfect glass is not in anyones reach yet.

This is 1 of two pieces of glasswork that I have done. Just to give you an idea..
...but my problem was is that my walls are too thick. So when I get a picture of my new glass piece I will PM it to you, and you can view it there! If you want to show it in here, then that's fine!

That glass looks very good - could you please let us know which settings you used for that? I really need some good settings for my HM-Hearse ... thanks in advance.

Wow! That glass does look great! However, do you suffer from the dreaded x-ray effect or the exploding issues when you zoom out or look at it from different angles?
I look forward to the day the glass issues are solved. Then I might actually be able to finish the set I started tinkering with....

I may be wrong, but it looks like there's the x-ray effect in this pic...I circled it in red:

Considering how much work people like Vodhin have put into researching glass with no good results, I'd be surprised if the secret gets cracked anytime soon.

Thanks everybody! I am glad you all liked it, but sadly, yes you can see the X-Ray of it, and yes i noticed it after i posted the picture! lol.
You just need a good texture and then in the importer, select glass under the "texture styles" column, then under the "face" column, select double-sided....and dont make the walls too thick, these may look good and all but i have a couple new glass pieces that i think look alot better.... If Coasterman20076, don't mind then i may be able to post it on/in here for you all to see!
OK, I edited my post here. I got some pictures of my new glass walls tell me what you all think about the X-rays now!
In the first picture i can see perfectly through the glass....from inside-out, and from out-side in and back out again....

In this second picture, you can still see through the glass no problem from a good distance....

Now in this third picture i wanted to show you a couple of objects that you will be able to see......
http://i153.photobucket.com/albums/s234/coasterfreak53/Aquarium%20Pictures/GLASS-3.jpg
and now in this forth picture you notice that only certain colors do not show throught he glass, in example..i have the bowling sign that all the letters are showing, but through the glass, the colors blue, and purple do not show......

I am still working on this project, so wish me luck!
Thank you, Coasterfreak!
