Does anyone know why goku is small in this series? does someone turn him into a smaller version?

You're talking about GT, right? Pilaf turns him into a child by mistake (by wishing from the Dragonballs).

Emporor Pilaf gets the Black Star Dragon Balls. He wishes for Goku to become a kid again, cause he thinks that it will make him weaker. Of course he does not know that the Black Star Dragon Balls will cause the Earth to explode if not found in 1 year.

I the first episode in the original version, don't know about the cuted american version that eliminate more than 10 episodes

They did do a "Lost Episodes" set recently for DBGT. I think they did the 1st version to get people into the story quicker.

I am really surprised that the anime companies let Funimation "mess" with their animes so much. If you never noticed, watch the end credits to any Funimation DVD. It says "reversioned", which means they changed it. By adding stuff, editing stuff (really notorius for that), or other stuff.
