Anyone Who Has Data Corrupted

Ok to everyone who has data corrupted this should clear some things up for you, 1st off sorry to say THERE IS NO WAY OF GETTING YOUR DATA BACK. You must restart the game over, here are some things you can do to prevent from getting data corrupted in the future:weird:

1) DO NOT Shut the game off wile the system is autosaving (you can indicate this bye the spinning watch in the upper left hand corner)
2) DO NOT Remove the memory card during anytime whilst playing the
game.
3) DO NOT Shut the console off without quiting the game first
4) DO NOT Shut the console off after being caught bye the police 9/10 it is autosaving

1) DO Be more carefull when shutting the game off to prevent data corrupted in the future.
2) DO Shut autosave off and save the game manualy if you have a problem with "data corrupted"

And one other thing you should add

DO NOT SHUT THE PS2 OFF OR RESTART IT WHEN YOU GET CHACTHED BY
THE POLICE...OTHERWISE,YOUR DATA WILL BE CORRUPTED

thx man that cleared things up ithink i did the cop thingy and wen u say quit out of whole thing wat to do i jus wait till the watch goes away and turn it off shuld i continue doing it or not?

well if u play on a ps3 you can buy a SD card and make a backup of your save- thats what i did

GET A SECOND MEMORY CARD AND OVERWRITE YOUR DATA ON IT FOR BACKUP.:up::cool:

i had all the problems listed above.. :rolleyes: you should have done this list before so i didnt have have my memory corrupted 3 times.

When My data Corrupted I was a little angry.. But then I remebered that I backed up my data to the HDD that came wit that :weird: Final Fantasy game.. Glad I found it in that clearance bin for twenty bucks.. Buu you can do the same by backing up game saves to a second memory card and just putting it up someplace....

I guess. I just wanted the HDD. To bad they dropped support for it. They should have never bundled it with that game only.

Yeah too bad it went away whit the new slimline Ps2.
However whit the HDD you could even install an Operating system such as Ubuntu,like turn it in some sort of PC.:p

Yeah. I read up on that a lil.. Then I kinda lost interest in the whole PS2 wit work and all... Hell I just put the thing up again. I just destroyed the charger for my wireless controller in a fit of rage after losing one of the challenge series in NFS:Most Wanted..:mad: :mad: :mad: Plus the kids destroyed every wired controller in the house...:eek: :pout: :cry:

my data got corrupted 6 times now, then i bought a new ps2 and solved the problem. although whenever i go to browser>memory card, all i see are little blue cubes floating everywhere that say "corrupted data", but when i go into the game and load the data, it is still fine...

Ah i learned that after i got chased down,Them at the infraction screen i tripped on my PS2's power cord lmfao...Yeah boom corrupted!

you do know you can delete those corrupted files and get that space back right? just select the files and delete.

i know, but for example, my memory card shows TDU is corrupted, but whenever i play the game and load my data it shows it just fine and not corrupted

yea i can but for some reason its shows "data corrupted" in the memory card...
