who is your favorite american or japanese voice actor?


also, who do you think should rightfully voice your favorite anime character(s) if they tried to duplicate the japanese voice actor(even if they already have a voice actor)


well. i'll start with pokemon and update next time with a different anime

(even if you dont like this anime, notice how cloise the voices would sound to their japanese voice)

ash: maile flannagin(naruto uzamaki: naruto) the voice should sound like narutos but slightly more mellow

brock: quinton (iruka: naruto, kon: bleach) the voice should sound exactly like irukas

misty: kate higgins(sakura haruno: naruto, tia: zatch bell) this voice would be perfect for her personality

jessie: ino(naruto)

james: the guy who did ebisu(naruto)

meowth:the guy who did babidi(dragonballz)

dawn: voice of ino(naruto) more serious tone than jessie though

may: vironica taylor was actually good for her

max: his 4kids actor was good, would have been better if the dub script wasnt horrible


drew:i never heard his japanese voice. something thats not obnoxious and sounds alittle conceited though


gary: why does 4kid give the rivals obnoxious voices? im glad they lost rights to it before paul made his appearence. anyway, the lady who did kid gohan and goku


harley: well hes supposed to sound gay, so either of his original voices will do

So are you suggesting voice actors for these roles, or are these the actual voice actors for the show?

suggestions. the current actots dont really try to sound like their japanese counter parts

I like Dameon Clarke's voice for Cell.

I also like the Azumanga Daioh english and japanese voices.

I also like the Japanese voices for Gurren Lagan and Haruhi. Those two I don't ever want to hear in english.
