vista crash

i am another person with the vista crash problem and it only seems to crash when i try to save or bring up the map and then only intermittantly
i have 2 gigs of memory and the latest drivers for my ge force 8600 gts and no programs running in the backround that i am aware of.
anyone have any ideas out there?

I forget where I found it but there is a patch Vista Users must download from Microsoft for this problem running on XP. Go to the support page and go to requirements. It may also be listed on the patch webpaage. Besides the patch Vista requires a special download. I hope this helps you.

Back again I found the hotfix. Click on the witcher launcher and from there click on updates. Under the Patch itself you will see Running on XP and Running on Vista, Follow the link for the Hotfix from Microsoft. That should help..
