Salamandra Badges ***SPOILER ALERT***

So, I've brought Leuwaarden three badges. Now what do I do with the rest of them? I can't seem to be able to unload them onto Leuwaarden and that Messenger guy isn't lurking about the tavern anymore (I'm still in Chapter 2). Is there any reason for me to hang onto these badges or have they become useless trash now?

Dump them. They aren't useful at any other point that I recall.
