Suggestion: Alpha Billboard -- is it possible???

I've got this idea, as I played around with Iceatcs Shop, but I'm not sure if this could work.

Can someone please make an "invisible" billboard???? The idea is that the billboard is a simple plane with an alpha-texture. If we add our picture(s) to this billboard, the background of our pictures must be 100% black, but all other colours will be show.

If we had this billboard anyone can make his own Ride-Signs an place them to their rides and they will look like a real logo, but without hundreds of polygons. And we don't get anymore requests for special ride-signs.

I don't see why we could not do A invisible billboard I mean do my 2d cut that way.

billboard requires a special setting to the mesh which has no option for alphas or anything other than SIOpaque. The other issue is that I don't think you can use an image format that supports alphas as selectable image types- only jpegs and bitmaps appear in the list (I think).

The SIOpaque restriction is imposed by the importer (introduced by jonwil before laid hands on it), at some stage I need to research if this is absolutely necessary or whether other styles work as well. Still what Vohin said is true, even if RCT3 would accept png or gif, it still isn't said it would use contained transparency.

No, I want just add a total black picture to this billboard and use it as window. :p Just kidding.

I have thinked about a png-picture. Iceatcs use png-pictures for his shop items as example. And all you see in the shelfs are the self-designed shirts etc. The whole black background is invisible.
