how do i get custom stuff?

2 things:
1. ok, ive been looking at some parks on the exchange (lots were amazing by the way) and i noticed a lot of them had custom objects in them like scenery and rides, and i would like to know how to create or get the items in my game. for example i saw a picknick table, how do i get this object or how do i create this object? (don't forget to tell me how to get custom rides too)

2. i have also noticed that alot of people have placed scenry objects oddly on the "grid". like i saw 1 park that had the lamps placed in the corners of the grid boxes instead of in the center of one of the sides like they ae usually placed. how do i do this; is it some kind of cheat?

1.Check the Custom scenery exchange board.(You can't get custom rides)
2. Same as above. There CS.

To place the lamps on the corners, you need to look for them in the scenery section (they come with the game). They are under the small section.

By the way, the custom rides you might have found were just rides that comes with one of the 2 expansions packs.
