How do I change my controls?

I'm starting to think something is wrong with my copy of the game... Well, I started off going to the game options to change my controls, as I have done in the past two games, but for some reason, the instruction booklet tells me a way to change to controls that is not on the option menu. It's telling me to highlight "custom," but there is no tab that says custom on it. There's a tab that says "normal," and then there is one that says "simple," and I can not click on either of them. So, I'm asking to anyone, how in the hell do I change my controls? I know this is a really stupid question to ask, but I can not find a way to change my controls. Like I said, the instruction booklet is telling me to go to the custom tab inside the control options, but I do not see a tab that says "custom" on it. All I see are four tabs: P1, P2, Normal, and Simple.

By the way, I have the Wii version of the game in case that matters.

xD It maybe your copy or simple you dont see the controller so that you can change it the way you like so.....

I actually like DBZ:BT2 more than this. I had high expectations I guess. =/

Nah... you just expected 3 to be better than 2 that's like normal and most do expect that.

So that wasn't high at all... now expecting it to fix all the flaws and be worth the full asking price... way.. .way to high!
