As a hardcore passionate DB/Z/GT freak I am extremely against whole DB LAM idea, but this?! this even surpased ruining of the Street Fighter back then...Disaster...

So I just want to know what members of forum like this one think of this nightmare which should come out in august...

I think I don't need to speak how rediculous, idiotic, celebrity, fashion, photo-model, pop-signer, n'-all-other-fancy-gay-bull****ty cast list they made, becuase it is obvious and clear...yes and very very sad...
Classic hollywood exploitation of the big name like "Dragon Ball"...

They screwed up the story so much...They screwed EVERYTHNG SO MUCH that ONLY title "Dragon Ball" reminds me on actual Dragon Ball.

And I am seriously being very very easy this time...But I don't want to ***** about it more than I already do, I just want to hear your HONEST opinions?

Also, those who don't want to judge befoure at least trailer comes out, I understand you, but at least you should understand ME, cuz for me whole LAM idea sucks itself, not to talk about how much this castlist and all other srew-ups disturb me.

@Kayro Shin, I am glad that you agree about movie, but I never understood sentences like - "punk is dead" or something like that, DBZ was never alive nor dead :D He is simply for everyone who want to watch it.
And for me DBZ will always be sooo alive, no matter is it most popular anime ever or most underground anime ever...Actually I would never really like it to overdo with popularity, that would be even worst, it should stay what it always was, simply DB/Z/GT.

I got to say, it looks most sucky. :p

The Goku character "might" could fit the role, but hair is important. The photo of him at IMDB that is featured as his profile pic is better for Saiyan style than that "car" scene one.
As far as Piccolo (my favorite character), that is disappointing. :downcast: Plus if they use the angle that Nameks are not aliens, but corrupt "ninjas", then the tragedy has struck deep into the heart of the fandom. :(

Anyway Transformers was just good in action and effects...
But those two teenagers, I mean the main characters....it was SO BAAD it ruined the whole movie... just how many stupid teenage scenes, I couldn't belive...And story is about him buying a car!? WTF!?
Focus should be on the Transformers! not on damn pathetic teenage humans!!!

But if there was no for those two, and if they could connect the story with that soldier, or something else... and set transformers as main characters, movie would be good, but still not completely, becuase they changed a lot...

And for DB, I think there is not producer on planet that could make DB good, because DB is NOT for live action...
Just the fact that actors can't have sharp-edged bodies and faces, eyes, hairtyles etc...already SUCK 100% and it is screaming out - DB LAM should never be made!!!!!!!!

But just as you see, they even screwed up de screwed-upness :D It suck sooooo bad that I have nightmares every day... :(

Its 2008, we have the technology to make a good Dragonball movie.
Those pictures on Dragonball Movie blog.com, they may not look good only because the pictures are in bad quality and they are just pictures anyways, wait and see what they look like when the movie goes through editing.

They havent even shown Gokus cotume yet, and I dont think they will. They had bulmas costume covered in those pictures but they did get the boots dead on from what I can see.

I know almost the whole movie skript too.
Its looks awesome.
I think Tien is in too because if you look at that site at Dragonballmovieblog.com you can see a sign that says Krane.
Which is Tiens master and you can see Mater roshis pupils training with Kranes.

At the end they all go to the world tornament where the real action starts, this is where they fight Lord Piccolo.

I bet after goku knocks that whole through L. Piccolo's chest he will puke up Piccolo Jr just like the show and then it will continue from there on.

I can not wait for this!

Anyways no he is not a ninja. If you are thinking of the ninjas like from Ninja Gaiden then well possible wrong. They are not just making this for DB fans but for fighting/action fans as well. The costume pic was taken by a cam phone in bright daylight. What did ya think it would come out like. We are also getting Oscar winners helping out for this movie. Teto has ONE scene that was flimed in one day or so Like for example. 300, people who made the backgrounds and stuff and doing this. So yeah costumes will look different. I'm done.

When i first heard they were making a DB LAM, i was SOOO hyped up... but i really am not too sure now... i mean, if the storyline was going to be created by akira toryama himself or some person who knows dragonball really well, and knows what the fans want - then PHEW! the movie would be an almost definate success...

but if James Wong and Stephen Chow don't know a thing about dragonball in the first place... and were just given a small summary of the anime series by fox... *GROAN* I can just see visions of the movie being all messed up.

But to quote DBZ, instead of expecting the worst, i think we should hope for the best :D

Dude, what do ya mean by that? If dragonball wasn't ever a hit in japan, then akira toryama would have ended the series, (as he was actually going to, before the fans wrote in) after the first 12 episodes. Also, if it wasn't a hit in japan, then the american producers would have picked a more popular anime to translate into english. I dont know about you, but i never would have found out about DBZ if i hadn't origonally seen the english version on cartoon network.

When I saw the picture of filming the scene when Goku gets hit by the car, for the first time in a long time, I actually felt like crying. Of course I didn't. I always hated Hollywood, but this time they've gone too far. **** Hollywood. If I had a nuclear missile, that would definitely be near the top of my list of cities to bomb. Why the hell are they exploiting Dragonball like this just to make some friggin money. Aren't they rich enough? They obviously don't know anything about Dragonball. They obviously are not working with Akira Toriyama. The cast really sucks. This should have been a Japanese movie like Death Note and then they could have just dubbed it or subbed it and brought it to US and other places.
