Looking through rct3 files, I thought to my self what if paths had no collison? We could build rides on top of them. Would it be possible? I tryed importing a western raised path. It worked, but it was a bit confusing, but I still haven't had time to test this or even got it working yet.

There's a way to build rides on paths(without hacking).
1. Build the ride.
2. lower the ground 3 tiles down where you want the path.
3. lay the path down on the lowered tiles.
4. Raise the land where the path is, and it should be in the position you want it.
There you go! that should work 4 u.

No I want a specific path, the texture from the raised western path, I use them for boardwalks, and piers.

theres some cheat, call a peep M Brookes, i dont know if it allows u to build a ride on paths, ive never tried...

You cannot make paths. Even if you manage to import the given paths using different settings, it will not work, it will just be a CS piece that looks like a path.

Should be. You might be interested in referencing textures; Vodhin had some sets reference the flashing lights texture.

Jonwil made a dumper that takes the ovl file and seperates the texture from it so you can use the texture from that specific piece.

Do NOT do it that way. It's entirely unnecessary and colud be seen as a copyright violation. Just reference it.
Which path do you mean exactly, the Western queue or a Path (sandy?).

Ok, you need to add a reference to "../../../../Path/Dirt/Dirt_Scenery" (enter exactly as I typed between the "") and manually enter the texture name "sheet1" for the mesh that should get it. Use the dumped texture to uv map your object, but you need to flip it upside down first (iirc).
