Well, first thing first: I'm 100% completely new at this whole custom scenery thing. I have both Blender and Sketchup, but Blender intimidates me too much to really figure out how to use it. I just successfully imported my first cube (woot) this evening.

I've read over and followed along with a few tutorials, and I figured I would post this set here, to see if there's any interest (even though it's quite a specific idea) as well as hopefully get constructive feedback that will help me improve exponentially. I thank all of you in advance.

So, all that being said- my first problem presents itself:

^ Why is it on its side like that? I assume it has to do with the X, Y, Z axis things in the importer. The side that has the black...rectangle...running along it is supposed to be the bottom.

All of this is quite daunting, and the tutorials all become jumbled and confusing after a while. If I could offer this as a "crash course" in CS with the community's help, I'd really appreciate it. For right now, though, if we could please keep the suggestions to a minimum as I am still struggling with even the simplest of tasks.

Once again, thanks a lot!

Hey that's a cool idea, mybe you could add on to it with other baseball and sports themed stuff when you're ready.

Looks great. I don't think I can help with your problem though.

^ Thank you so much for your help. I'm sure there's plenty more questions that I will have...haha. I'll go see if I can fix it...and I bet in the process, I'll have another question.
