This is my first CS set which i am determined to see till a release!!!
in the past i have given up on other projects because my CS skills have stopped me from making what i want so im starting basic and dreating a set of
DECORATIVE PATH LIGHTS
sort of like them little rocks with the lights in.I know that they are too bright at the moment i will change that before the 1st update
I will create a light in a range of colours and/or designs, any designs can be put forward as i am lacking in ideas for shapes :)
please comment!

i have a question for all the CS makers out there
can you have more than one light effect point on the same single CS object?
because i made a set of path lamps that had 3 effect points on them and RCT3 crashed as soon as i opened the scenery menu, any ideas?

Should be possible

im not sure because i made a small pillar light with 3 Light effect points down one side and only one appeared on the top of the lamp not down the side where i put them, do you think its something to do with the transformation matrix?

hmmmmm..... ill have to play about with the importer abit,
However i almost made a particle effect as a ride event by mistake, the particle effect worked but the ride event bit didnt, it kinda started the effect when the ride returned to the station rather than the set track piece but yea, so it can be done,

Wow, those lights are much bright, but since if you have a problem then why not follow Surfingoz tutorials or ask for assistance, maybe Belgabor, Surfingoz, Johnnyears, Datmatez (I think) but they have more expirence than us lot....
But the set looks really nice, could you think could have coloured lights?
I would love them if they were coloured...

Normally it doesn't crash. Show a screenshot of your effect point setup.
You also shoudn't create too many shining lights in one spot as the engine turns them off if too many are too close which leads to flickering. If you want the effect of more than one, create one shining (lightstart or nblightstart) and several non-shining ones (simplelightstart). Remember you have to number them correctly, ie all count, no matter whether lightstart, nb or simple.

RudeBoyDevil:I think i could manage coloured ones ;)
sigsig76: thanks!!, glad theyll be of use
Belgabor: I tried using the simplelights but they dont illuminate anything they just look as if theyre lighting something, like an LED bulb

Just wondering, what font are you using on the lettering on the pic on the first post. Looks like a good set!
