Sewer Set

Just a set with sewer pieces that you can put over rollercoasters, or just for scenery.
The Thing is, i dont know if this has been done, im sorry if it has, but im gonna carry on anyway. i checked the scenery list and i didnt find a sewer set, so i hope its ok.

Here is a little suggestion(it does not look like you did this but I could be wrong).After you group your objects,right click on the group,there should be an option that says"soften/smooth edges,"it softens the object but does not increase triangle count.Looks sweet by the way,although they look like the bobsleigh pieces Coaster-inc made.

thats a good tip i will use it but not for the sewer pieces as i dont want em curved.

also its not gonna be lik coaster inc's bob sleigh set as its gonna be more than track covers, and it wont fit bob sleighs

Cool...you know wha twould be cool? If you made the inside texture of the tubes with the caustic effect it would look like the water was reflecting all around inside.

yeah it is dark i was using the light red in that pic, the normal red is blood red

Ok, Ok i did it, i smoothed the edges
and imported the rest of the current water pieces, i didnt take a picture of the 2 square recolourble one but you will get what i mean

When you turn the double wide into two separate tubes, there's a hole in-between the single square tubes, any way to make a separate piece that fills in the hole? Just saying...

thankyou, im not gonna do rats because... it would be to hard for me to make an animal, unless i did a cut out, which i dont mind doing, but it will be 2D

u can fit 2 tracks in the wider ones, one in the small ones

Here are three ideas: this one is a little tricky,how about like a 1m waterfall that can be placed between sewer pieces so it looks like you "drop" into the next sewer basin.All you have to do is make a curved waterfall looking piece,and put an animated texture on it(just a thought).This one is easier: varying depths of water,As for the last one: grime(a thin brown texture)that appears that it"stained"the stone at water level.Looks fabulous by the way.

yeah i will be working on that idea once i finished the peices im working on at the moment, ive had a bit of problem with the liquids

thanks, the water is a setting in the importer, instead of SIOpaque (or what ever) set it to SIWater

the drop is a good idea but i wont, i might do stained tubes.

well the problem is ( well sometimes by me) that sometimes i have to click it twice , cuz the first time when i click to paint it , it Seems alright but when u zoom , the texture is weird and then when i click it again ( lik 17 times omg) then its mostly good;) , trry it out:)

ok go to the texture , right click then you see : texture> , klick that then there will apair position , klick that when did that , just klick somewhere in the screen ( so it will dissapair) that must be good;) hope it helps

Maybe you should PM ShyGuy or Vodhin... somebody that has real experience with this kind of stuff.

This set is amazing. Combine this with Dasmatze's Industry set with the pipes and you can make some amazing rides zooming around through tunnels. Great work! :up:
