why no voice chat?

i dont understand why this game doesnt have voice chat - would it be too demanding for the psp network?

if anyone want to race clean, add me as a friend....

I know! its hard to communicate....but a few of us regulars have found ways to get the message across.....like honking flashing and ramming.

I personlly can't stand it when people cheat by going off road or cutting huge corners. So, if you come back to this thread and read this, i'd love to have a good clean race.

Too bad i cant use my friends list, or it'll freeze my PSP and crash it.

In-game chat would have been good period. The only place you can type chat is the Diners, which isn't convenient enough. Everybody sounds like they're holding their nose when talking in PSP mics anyway. That and they probably could not fit it on the UMD; don't get me wrong, I do have the headset and it would have been cool.
