I know, I'm not done with San Marco, but here's the one - St. Basil's in Moscow. Because of the rounded towers and that all parts are different in textures, this one is gonna be very high in polygons and textures - but it's gonna be a real jewel for any park.

I'm looking forward to see the russian part of Spanky's World. I guess it's gonna be a masterpiece like the other parts ...

Yes, that would be a great park, I think of a "Matryoshka" with Mouse Ears <LOL>
I started to make the textures,

That can only be extremely painstaking preparing the textures and then even more so placing them. But all that labor reflects in your work.

These recreations are looking great, espically the textures. Ever think about recreating Leaning Tower of Pisa something tells me you would be able to make it look really good, since it would be a challenging piece to make low poly.

Holy moly! Excellent work! I leave all concerns about polys aside, this is just outstanding!

I always wonder, where you find these perfect textures. You impress me each time on the new.

Correct, but perhaps was the Architect a distant related of Walt Disney. ;)

Absolutely fabolous...!
St. Basils is one my world-wide all-time favourite buildings... Excellent stuff, Eezee.
Can't wait until you get to the Hagia Sophia...
(But... what about a Swedish building?.... Naaahh... just messing. Forget it, haha...)

Preparing and placing the textures are (at least for me) just one step. It's not a pain (as you may know I am a graphic-designer, and this my job) but it's still a looooot of work to get the textures right, especially wehn you try to make them small ...
Brilliant, great work :D
good work.
Thank you

LOL - yes indeed. What do you north american learn in shool about the "old world"? I'm really stunnend about the lack of knowledge of north americans about europe ... ;)

Thank you. Yes, i've been thinking about the Leaning Tower of Pisa - but I make the Bell Tower of San Marco as the italian entry in my European Landmarks Series - but maybe later I will make it.

It's gonna have, well that's what I guess, something between 3,000 and 4,000 polygons - but that's just a guess. There are still a lot of parts which aren't modeled yet.
I always wonder, where you find these perfect textures. You impress me each time on the new.
Thank you Spanky - it's not a matter of where... I've made (yet) about 90 percent of textures myself.
Absolutely fabolous...!
