Heres a project i started it will be a soda fountain set with a working fountain a scenery fountain (same one but doesn't work) and possibly just the fountain on a quarter title. Are there any volunteers to import and reduce poly for my cs when i finish creating it or give me loads of instructions (ive read the tutorials so don't post me links i didn't find them very detailed and explanatory). thank you very much
New Pictures Update (i slimmed it down does it still have its realism or to slim?) also i moved up the napkin, lid, and straw dispensers should i put something behind them in that empty space? Last are my peep and vendor pints in the right spot?
let me know thanks

Reverse the faces of the object. The faces wont show up in the game unless they are reversed. Unless, of course that is the texture. But reverse the faces just incase.

Yeah i have made, KFC and burgerking, but i cant seem to find it, since i have too many desgins, and i will try let ya know....
But this Mcdonalds stall has just 468 polys, and the box at the left which is sloped, (it has chips in there YUM!) :haha:
But the small thing there, is a PIN bank, where you dont pay in cash, you pay in your bank account :haha:
I cannot make the mode in RCT3 for the Stall, so it can be a proper stall than CS, but since i dont really know how, but i seen Surfingoz tut, i once got it right, but it was just a box :haha:

Because these are probably just going to be placed against walls, does it really need to be 2 whole tiles deep? It looks like you can cut the back end by one tile and still get away with the realism of it all. You may need to move the cup, napkin and straw holders up a bit but I think it would still look fine.
This is an excellent model by the way. I can't wait to see it imported.

Ok, let's pretend this has already been imported into the game and you're placing it against the back wall of your restaurant. As it stands right now, it's going to be two tiles long from the front of the counter to the edge of the wall. I don't think you need that extra tile of space for this object.
Look at the picture below. What I'm suggesting is to "chop" off the back half of the object as outlined in red thereby reducing the space needed to place in your favorite restaurant or fast food chain. I feel that the size of it now would be too bulky and awkward.
As previously suggested/mentioned, you would probably need to scoot your drink, napkin and straw holders a bit closer to the counter to accomodate the new dimensions.

I hope that explains it.

To reverse faces, just right click on the face you want to reverse and you will see an option that says reverse face. Press that and voila! Your faces have been reversed!

Regular faces should be white. Reversed faces are black or grey. Reverse the black or grey faces.

Oh, that is the texture? Well, when you zoom in close to the model do parts of it turn black? If so, then that means you need to reverse whatever faces turn black. If no parts of the model turn black, then you are fine. However, you might want to think about getting a better texture. It doesnt look very metal.

i pretty sure they don't turn black but a question i watched surfingoz's tutorial's on how to reduce poly but when ever i delete unnecessary faces it deletes the whole face and i don't have groups or anything so either im not doing it right or i have no more faces to delete but my poly is like 600-800 range good bad? help?
