GT Goten ~Appreciation Thread~

The second child of Goku and Chi-Chi, Goten is born in 767 AD. Goten resembles his father very much, and their facial features are almost identical. By the time Goten is born, his father has already died in the Cell Saga, and so Goten never gets to know his father until about the age of 7 or 8 when Goku returns to Earth for a day for a World Tournament, which is the day that the two first meet in a brief but touching scene. Goten turns Super Saiyan at a much younger age than his brother Gohan or his father. Goten is famous for his mispronunciation of his father's move, as "Kamekameha!". Aside from that, Goten has only one other attack which he calls "Totsugeki", which translates literally to "Attack!". We see Goten gown up in the very last couple of episode in Dragonball Z and all of Dragonball GT. When he's grown up he doesn't really resemble Goku like he used to and isn't really as much of a fighter anymore. He was originally supposed to go with Trunks and Goku on the search for the Black Star Dragon Balls in DBGT. But was left behind when Pan snuck aboard. I'm pretty sure they'll do that. Its fan service. I mean, thats one of the many things that makes the PS3 & Xbox 360 so different from the Wii. Why not put it into good use. ;)

first of all.. your "god" remark is a stupid one and it might be offensive for some so i advise to be careful with those kind of remarks

about GT Goten.. he's a good character and Goten does deserve a teen character and not just his child form. However if they did GT Goten it'd be imperative to have his late DBZ outfit... the one that resembles the kame gi.. and additionally the outfit he uses while training with goku before the tournament

Think past Burst Limit. Future games. GT will eventually be on Next/Current Gen in some way shape or form and to prevent whats always happened (Pan and Goku but no Goten, Trunks, Gohan or Vegeta), we need to let these developers know that we want him in.

GT has suffered the injustice of little story (Tenkaichi series, non existant on B3) and characters with terrible moves (GT Goku's moves are recycled) for too long!

hey, don't get me wrong I do wan t GT goten on a future DBZ game. Have you read any of my posts I'm all for more GT characters. Oh, and I voted on that poll because I do appreciate GT Goten.:)
What I meant was that its the same thing because people flame you for wanting your characters in the game like Bulla, Marron and goten. Theres nothing wrong with wanting characters in that other people don't want.

But you have to think past Burst Limit SSJ5V. Theres eventually going to be sequels and eventually Buu and GT.

This thread has already been sent out to developers by Ciel when it reached its peak in the Tenkaichi 3 forums. Its absolutely pointless (not to mention redundant) to create another one, especially considering Buu saga alone is iffy. GT itself has very little chance of making it in since Buu saga has yet to be confirmed, and even if that wasn't the case, like I already said, this thread was already fowarded by Ciel. Why would you make an entirely new one? Man, I and I had you pegged as one of the smarter ones. I do sound a bit harsh here, I realize that. More power to you if you want to still support a hopeless cause, but why wouldn't you at the very least move the old suggestion thread rather than make a new one? It just seems redundant to maintain an old thread and raise a new one when they're the exact same topic; appreciation for a worthless character.

Other companies would still have to go through Atari, who has the rights to DBZ for the time being. That being said, the first thing a high ranking atari official like Ciel would do, is cater to the fans by showing new DBZ game developers a highly popular thread, regardless if it was in an older DBZ game forum or not. SInce this game as been in development for 2 years or whatrever, I'm sure the previous thread was already fowarded to Dimps, rendering this one obselete (and an eyesore since I hate GT with a fiery passion).
