Can you play as Jedi's too?

No. You can play as Rebels, Clones, Emperial Clones (when they are on the bad side), and battle droids. There are different looks and types of each.

In certain battles you can become a General which will allow you to play someone like Luke, Han, Darth Vader, Obi Wan (and old Obi Wan), Count Dooku, General Grevious, Jango Fet, etc. Each have custom weapons and abilities and are really strong. (If you play space battles they have special ships.)
I like luke the best. On Hoth I charged into the enemy base alone as Luke and killed everyone on the other team including Vader.

I have it for PS2. The PS2 version was a lot better, as it actually had a pretty good story-mode. The PSP version doesn't have one at all.

Your'e talking about Renegade Squadron, which is a PSP exclusive, he's talking about Battlefront II, which came out for the PSP a few years ago.

I played Battlefront II (still have it, haven't gotten tired of it), but I haven't played Renegade Squadron yet.
