A few of my friends and I are tying to host a NWN2 game via a program called Hamachi. Hamachi simulates a physical LAN(computers networked together in a local area *usually the same hub*) Once we try to make the LAN game it tries to connect us to the multi player game. We are trying to see if Hamachi will help with the network lag one a friends has on the multi player function but technically this would mean the game is on the multi player setting. The problem we have is we are able to host and join multi player games via LAN only if the network cable is unplugged from the hub we are all using. Is there a way to LAN NWN2 without connecting to the online service or disconnecting the cable? Thanks :bulb:
