I'm taking this idea from the FUNimation forums, but it's a good one at that.


What titles would you like to be license by each dubbing company? Maybe even rescued perhaps?

FUNimation

Dr. Slump (Both Series) - License - FUNI needs this because it's just their kind of title and apparently, the 2nd series has Goku in it and we all know how that would go down with another company.

The Original Yu-Gi-Oh! - License - I own the manga and it's within 4Kids boundaries to license and release, but FUNI would do some good with it. Maybe do a DVD release with 4Kids cast and a FUNI cast? Who knows...

D. Gray Man - License - I've been reading that this shows has some fans. So why not put it here.

Pocket Monsters (Pokemon) - Rescue - I know some of you may be thinking WTF?, but I have a good reason for this. We NEED an uncut version of Pokemon as we're never going to see one. I'm sure enough people who be very happy to see some original names and an excellent dub by some of those FUNI VAs. Maybe FUNI would bring in Ash's original 4Kids VA to do work.

That's just some off the top of my head. Lets see what everyone else has to say.

I find that I can't recommend any anime be licensed for dubbing. D.Gray-man needs never be dubbed.

hunter x hunter (funimation)
yugioh(funimation)

redubs:
pocket monsters(uncut) (viz)..they can release uncut boxsets

digimon redubbed(uncut)(funimation)

yugioh duelist redubbed(uncut)(funimation)


zatch bell redubbed(uncut)(viz)

shaman king(redubbed)(funimation)


viz releases pokemons DVDs so i think its more likely that they would release an uncut redub of pokemon if anyone would

That's good enough. All I want is Pokemon to go to Ocean Studios then. LA would rewrite the scripts anyway.

About yugioh though. i honestly can't see anyone else play Kaiba except Eric Stuart and Yugi/Yotima as Dan Green. They've made those roles theirs. Otherwords, maybe FUNI can pull something with the voices. Just keep Stuart and Green.

Sadly, VIZ grabbed Hunter x Hunter. FUNI should have gotten that though (Yu Yu Hakusho).

if they ever came out with an anime for 666 satan(o-parts hunter) it would probably be dubbed and released on DVD less than a year after its japanese debut by viz

The pokemon names were changed by Nintendo itself because they make sense in japanese but not in english.

That's a good enough reason to do it. What would be cool is to have two version of a dub. Do an uncut dub with dub names and dub Pokemon names and one with original names. I think that would satisfy everyone. Also, don't forget the original JPN dub.

It'd go like this for audio options.
