Okay, I just bought a copy of Diamond Edition NWN. Opened it up, and was surprised to see that all 3 CD keys are the same. Ok, maybe they just decided to make it easier for Diamond ed purchasers and make one key work for all. Game installed fine. Now, when I try to play the game, it wants me to put in a SoU key, and won't take the one I have. If I click cancel, it quits the game.

Has anyone else run into this?

I've sent an Atari support request, but the site suggests it may be a week or more to get a response, which is just outright rediculous.

Issues like this should be able to be resolved over the phone in 7-10 minutes, not 7-10 days. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be a telephone support number.

Edit: Apparently this is a known issue, though not as widely publicized as the missing keys issue. Here's the notation about it:

Again, no method for getting a fix in a reasonable amount of time. :(

So you're saying I should try replying to the auto email i got for submitting the ticket, and if that doesn't get me a response quickly, then I'm going to be in for a nightmare?

I wonder if I wouldn't be better off to return the game.

Edit: Replied to the automail with a photo attached. Also calling other local shops to see if they have another copy. If I don't get a quick reply, I may try and return this and get another copy if I can find one.

If you read through the thread, you'll see posts from people who got their keys right away by sending in pictures to the right place.

Sorry, I skimmed it, and just saw lots of horror story posts about months of no responses. I'll look a bit closer.

Best as I can see, the 'right place' is to reply to the email that says do not reply to this email. I've done that, now it's just wait and see.
