I'm looking for permission to host your Custom Scenery. Everything will remain intact that you've created and optionally, if you'd like, I can link directly to your site(s)/thread.

The only thing changed will be the zip files name. Example:

AUTHORNAME_CSNAME.zip Format.

If you have any issues you'd like to discuss before allowing me to host your CS, please shoot me a PM.

What I plan to do for those not replying here. Is I am going through and finding every CS author I can, and sending them a PM to ask permission. If they've been gone for a long period of time I will host their CS with a linkback to their original thread/website or both.

If the authors aren't available, then you can't host their scenery, unless an authorized surrogate gives permission.

Well if the authors aren't available, in those instances I'll link to the available thread rather than host it locally. Just trying to alleviate some of this rapidshare dependency. No wait times and slow downloads :)
There will also be a facility to allow author(s) to upload the CS to the site on their own. So whenever they get a new set released or an update, they can go ahead and submit and it's up.

EDIT:

Check the signature. The site is nowhere near done. I just figured I'd start early in asking for permission. I love the game so far so I am trying to give back to the community. It's a paid site, a paid domain and it's something I enjoy doing. You'll be able to visit the site to validate the integrity of my claims. I'm not going to steal anyones work to turn a buck and I'm not trying to create a name for myself. It's actually a subdomain of my main site in which me and my clan members play Team Fortress 2. I just started getting into RCT3 (I really liked the older ones, but my computer back then couldn't run RCT3) So I bought it off steam and I've liked it so much that I wanted to make my parks better and went out looking for CS, but I noticed it was really hard to find working download links and I saw complaints. So I thought I'd fill the void.

I'd love to host your CS RCT3robin :)

I enjoy designing sites and I enjoy RCT3.

I've just viewed your Terrain Fillers coinich. They look great!

Would you mind if I hosted your creations once everything is done? I can link to any thread/site or whatever if you'd like your CS to get more visibility too.

Thanks.

Thank you RCT3robin. If you stay in touch with any other CS authors could you pass on the word? There are lots of them :)

Sure, if this gets up and running. For the future, try to keep from double posting though. The mods usually will simply join the posts, but occasionally they get ticked and start deleting posts...

Hi. What you are doing is what anyone is allowed to do as long as permission is giving. I personally want to wait to see this webiste in full operation before giving permission. I have both my sets on Vodhin's homepage atm, and short of having to go thru his signature to get there is available to all. Sorry but atm I cannot give permission on sight unseen.

Not a problem. I understand your concern for not putting your works on something not functioning. Atleast I know you're around to be contacted once the site opens. Once all is done I will update my signature with the link.

EDIT:
You have permission to host mine.
I have 2 things out:
rct3ms(old user name) fence
maylene's froghopper

Thank you Maylene, you were added to the list and once the site is up I'll let you know when it's hosted so you can take a look.
