Something new in the works. Ghost trains/haunted hotel tracks only. . .

Tired of not having that dark, where is everything feeling? Rct3 darkrides lack that, and I personally can't stand it and usually edit my rides in vegas with the brightness lowered. But I will put a stop to this. I will creat 1h, 2h, 3h, slopes, roofs. . . All that a compact darkride needs!

Including an extra Trazy Gizmo. . . REQUESTS are aloud. . .

Cool! I don't have any criticism or ideas, though...

I've always had problems when dealing with totally black pieces. After a while, it's very hard to see what you have placed around your ride and where, which results in gaps when actually riding it. I'm referring to the pitch black pieces from Pumper’s Dark Ride Set and Marnetmar's Dark Ride V1.1. I don't have a solution to this problem to suggest, I just wanted to highlight the issue with pitch black pieces in general. At the end of the day it's just a matter of learning how to place them properly, I suppose.

cool, but a good idea that i thought of last night would be to make one side of the walls black, and the other different. (ie like the walls in the hanger set or expo 200 set) then you wouldn't have two add two different layers when covering up the show room.

i have a suggestion.. why not use SR3D's find in which you can just edit one of rct3's texture ovls and turn all the textures black? it would save you LOTS of time and it would be pretty easy and less time consuming than doing hundreds of scenery models of track pieces... if you were REALLY going to do it properly you could make an installer which replaces the texture ovl and then replaces it with the original on uninstall.. as the only way to change textures at the moment is with replacing textures instead of copying them..

There is a very easy solution, the same I used for my invisible doodads set. Put the texture in a texture ovl and provide two versions of it, black and something visible. For building the user uses the visible one and for filming the black one.

Someone actually made those! I don't know who it was but I'm sure you could find i in the "I search an object" thread.

^I know, but i believe that the texture on the outside was brick. I'm saying he should use other textures that are more used for showrooms, like the walls in expo 200 or the hanger sets.

I may use, trailer texture for portable darkrides, with the inside of the wall pitch black, so I don't have to waste space. And one recolorable version.

I LOVE this idea! I'd use it on Ghost Mine for sure...there are lots of places where I needed small black walls and just didn't have them. Could you make some half-wide walls or 1/4-tile ones too? Triangle pieces would be quite helpful as well.

Great idea Plokoon, you're getting me re-addicted to dark rides. :)

Very cool, fisherman has lots of good ideas!

I thought for a moment that you figured out a way to make dark rides DARK, during the day lol.

I wish :p
