Hey Everyone,

First, for those of you that don't know me, it's probably because I rarely come on here, only for really important matters, which one has come up.

I don't know about everyone else, but I haven't been able to get to vodhin's site lately, and I deleted a few sets of CS that I can only find at vodhin.net. Even when I go to the Complete List of CS, it still won't let me download because it downloads from vodhin.net.

So the point of this post is to see if I can get any answers from anyone.

Does anyone know what happened to vodhin's site, is it known as something else now, is it just simply going through technical problems, or, dare I say it, is it gone for ever?
Where can I find Jcat's Steel Works, vodhin's mill set, and vodhin's vermont theme in a place that isn't vodhin.net?
Is my computer just being moronic, and everyone else can reach vodhins site while as I can't?
Or could it be that I'm being moronic and the answers are painstakingly easy to find

The DNS (domain name) servers haven't pointed Vodhin.net to that web server ip. So, the website is "up", but not officially.

Guys, it's not "down" as you presume. It's a question of domain (Vodhin.net) name servers pointing the name to the IP address I just gave you in my previous post.

^yeah true , its how you call it :o:up:

:haha:

Btw'; Why is this in the custom scenery section ? should be in the RCT3 general discussion

the reason it's in the CS section was because I was originally asking where I could find a few CS sets that I only knew could be found at vodhin's site.

There is no way to recover vodhin.net at this time- I have to wait for the domain to go through it's "death throws" as the name-servers' delete the old settings (I could get it back, but it would mean paying the the old host, whom has been nothing but problems). A little less than a month from now I will be able to get it back.

The new host is a cheap host but with a really nice package: unlimited storage, unlimited bandwidth for less than $150 a year- dedicated hosting, too... but... not the latest processors/equipment- so I suspect that if there is a lot of traffic that it will load slowly from time to time or maybe not at all (in other words: try a few minutes later).

The link in my siganture will take you there for now.

now stop making threads about this issue- there are already 4 others around the forum, and my signature is updated in every one of my posts ;)

Hey Vodhin,

Is there anyway to register to your site or is that also disabled? I've been trying for a couple months now and each time it says invalid email or something is not recognized. Any help would be appreciated.

Things have yet to settle in- soon the domain name will be back and you will be able to register a new account. The server doesn't like too many raw connections (via IP address as it is now) so sometimes it doesn't appear to work.

Personal family matters have been keeping me a bit too busy to be around much, but those items are nearly over for now, and soo I will be back to crank out some new goodies once again...

Vodhin, sorry about the hijackers and spam related posters, they have been removed and appropriate warnings awarded.

Thanks a lot Vodhin. Could you also make a nice big posting when it is active again? Also I really enjoy your Vermont theme, it is my favorite of all sets. I'm from Pennsylvania and we have a lot of the same scenery, in fact we have the most covered bridges of any state!

This is the covered bridge in McConnell's Mill State Park, I've been there many times
