Woah, it's been a year or two since I've last posted here!
Anyways:
I will be going to SFGAV on may 4th on a town organized trip, and I have a question with regards to flashpasses. I want to get a flashpass to make my time as efficient and fun as possible. However, as I am 14, you need ID and getting an adult to help me rent one is not a viable option, what form of identification would be acceptable?
*edit* I'm in middle school atm, so school ID is not an option
*does the ID need to be bona fide ID?
(could it just be something I made?)

I believe high school I.D. may be acceptable. It's just something to enter your information with for when you return it.
Go with Gold Flash Pass.Much better.Walk-ons for rides with 2 hour waits.Doesn't get any better than that.

Strange, my Middle School gave me a school I.D.

^That may also work.It has to be a photo ID for sure.I think it's just for them to take your info to use when you return the Flash Pass to make sure the right person returned it.

You don't really need a Flash Pass. I went the past two years without one I got to ride everything I wanted to. It seemed a waste of money. You just need to know when to stand in line and when not to.

^You may not need in during a weekday in the summer. You shouldn't see lines get over 45 minutes on a Tuesday and that's for El Toro/Kingda Ka,making Flash Pass pointless. If you go on a weekend, however,it may be a different case.I without a doubt needed it for FrightFest.Crowds beyond belief.
Since you don't have a school I.D. you may have a problem.Do you have a photo I.D. for something like the YMCA or club? I'd call GADV and ask what's acceptable or if you need one.

I found myself using a flashpass when I went in June last year, even when EVERYTHING was a walk-on, El Toro still had a 45 minute wait. Worth every penny if you plan on riding Toro quite a few times.
But that early? I wouldn't worry about it.
