Well... there's a floating roller coaster, and a bland park entrance with buildings. No offense, but it is quite bad. I recommend you look at other topics and practice before posting parks. Also make sure that you download custom scenery and custom supports (look in stickies for link to CS list).

^^ That's completely inappropriate and unnecessary. What have you done except made yourself look foolish and given a bad impression of these forums?
^ The same goes for you...however, at least you gave some ideas on how to improve...saying "no offense" doesn't make whatever you say after it alright, in case you were unaware.

crazykid, ignore ridiculous comments such as that.

Welcome to the forums and RCT3. What you have is definitely a decent start if this is your first encounter with the game. I like the fact that you are keeping the entrance way open and not placing a bunch of rides around it. It creates more realism.

However, people like to see more done when you post, usually. This looks very incomplete and there isn't a lot to judge right now. Why are there no supports on your coaster?

Look around the forums, especially the parks threads, to find inspiration. I suggest looking at parks by shyguy, mikeyca, n747, and others. They are some of the best on these forums. Get acquainted with the custom scenery thread, since it opens up a wealth of possibilities to make your park much more realistic and, well, more interesting to look at.

Make your pictures bigger so that we can see details. It's hard to see much right now. Also, open the park and name a person "David Walsh" (without the quotes) then press ctrl+u. The interface will disappear, making your photographs more appealing. Just press ctrl+u again to have the interface return.

Once again, I apologize for silly, unhelpful comments as the first one you received. Hopefully you aren't soured--most of us aren't too bad around here, as long as you're calm, receptive to feedback, and follow the rules.
Best of luck! I hope this was helpful, and I look forward to your improvement.

You're kidding me, right? Am I not allowed to say a park is not very good? Are we all expected to say "oh, your park is great!" I'm sure the park creator would rather I flat out say it's not very good and offer suggestions, rather than lie and say it's fantastic. The no offense was to show that I do not have anything against the park creator, and it is strictly my opinion on the park.

^ Who said it's fantastic? I didn't...all I said was before we go condemning someone who's had the game a total of two weeks, we could be supportive and give constructive criticism without having to be negative for negatives sake. Saying, "no offense, this is quite bad." isn't constructive. I gave you credit for offering suggestions, but might I suggest that you consider how you give your criticism, especially towards someone who is so completely new to this game. I know one of the last things I'd want to hear when I just got a game is how bad I am at it.

Ey.
First thing;-)
Welcome on atari Forums! Hope you stay here as long as possible:)
then let's see your start of your park.
The entrance is Ok. Could hava a nice building though but for a starter it's ok.
then your coaster seems to float, Going to put Custom Supports under it?

Remember, It's your first park, it only can become better and better;)
just look around in the topics for examples of the Greatest parks around here.

Wish you good luck!
Keep on going!

Hi Crazy kid, welcome to the forums!

I have to say this is quite a good start to a first park. Yes its a little bleek at the mo but im sure that will fill as you progress.

A fue tips that will help you out...

1. Ignore any one who says your park is bad and says nothing to help!
2. Landscapeing, trees and plants are good and easy ways to fill blanks on the map. (there is a Tut somewhere, i will try and find a link for you later)
3. Keep your first park smallish, you will find it a lot easyer and more pleaseing to set a max size for your park and just work and finnish that area. (then you can alwase expand!) Otherwise you might find your self with lots of very spaced out rides and not knowing what to fill it with!
4. Have a look HERE (http://www.ataricommunity.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=358) to find lots of usefull Tuts on how to do stuff in RCT3.
And lastly, 5. Read all rules and stickys at the top of the pages, and to avode geting shot, dont dubble post.

Have fun and good luck!

Dan Mc

p.s. Before Helth and safty come round i recomend adding supports! lol

Yeah. Make a new thread if it's a new park, and ask a mod to close this topic if you're done with this park.

What happened to the supports on all your coasters? I hope you are putting custom supports on them. Otherwise good start I guess.
