What is La Ronde exaclty? Six Flags La Ronde mostly call "La Ronde" has been created in 1967,year of Montreal's expo.Since 1967,over 30 rides have been added to the park.In April 2001, Six Flags purchased La Ronde. It was a very good decision.Since 2001, 2 roller coasters have been introduced. Those roller coasters are Goliath(2006) and Vampire(2002).Many flat rides,1 water ride(Splash,2005) ,a go-kart circuit(2008) and jet-ski(2008) have been introduced in the park too.
Back to the trip.
I've been to La Ronde for about 4 hours. Here is my TR.

Nice trip report, I enjoyed the video!
I'm guessing that Vampire is their answer to Batman: The Ride? It looks like a similar layout. I like the whole idea of them not introducing super hero-themed rides into the park, it definitely makes it have a much better atmosphere.
Does Six Flags have a contract or deal with the previous owners to not use the "Six Flags" branding in their name? I'm just wondering, it seems that the first thing that Six Flags would do is slap their name all over the place. Would they also have a similar deal with "The Great Escape" since they own it, but there is no Six Flags branding?

Vampire is the mirror image of Batman:The ride with different colors.About the superhero idea,I'm not sure La Ronde will give a contract to a roller coaster designer.Goliath has Superman's colors and the management didn't call Goliath 'Superman: ...' .Why they didn't call Goliath and Vampire superheros names? To be honest,I don't know.Probably because La Ronde is apart from Six Flags' branding. We are supposed to call the park 'Six Flags La Ronde' but we don't.If you look closely at my profile picture, there is La Ronde's logo in the bottom right. Here is a link to show what is written:http://rcdb.com/ig3385.htm?picture=8
'Membre de la famille Six Flags' means 'Member of Six Flags' branding' in french. It is probably because of french we don't add 'Six Flags' at the beginning of the name. The amusement park industry in Canada is not very developped,Canada's Wonderland and La Ronde are the 2 major amusement parks in our whole country.
I'm glad you liked my TR and my video.
Thanks :)

A new flat ride.It is called "Le Catapulte".It is similar to SFOG's fearless freeps devil dive.Jet-Ski and Go-Karts have been added to the park for the 2008 season.

Thanks for the response. :)
You have a good point about the branding, it makes more sense to me now.

No problems!
The Six Flags cartoons would maybe work in another city in Canada, there is only 1 Six Flags park over all the country.

They should put a Six Flags park in Vanouver or near Toronto, IMO.
Nice trip report! Do you have any pics of Super Manege?

^^ Oh, you must have misunderstood me.
I originally said that it's GOOD that La Ronde doesn't have super-hero or Loony Tunes themed areas. It's better that way without them, the super-hero themes are what makes Six Flags parks so tacky in my opinion.
Anyways, now it's cleared up. :D

Vancouver,in my opinion.Toronto has Canada's Wonderland,if they build a Six Flags over there,it would work like in Montreal. In the West coaster, there is no major amusement parks.Playland and Galaxy land are great but there are not major. Here is 1 picture of Super Manège.
