First, the bad
Bad:
Story Mode isn't the greatest
Some characters are just not worth playing
Voice Acting
Reactions out of Finishers(I mean, come on, you don;t JUST clench your teeth when your hurt.)
Online Just plain sucks
For true fighters, there's not much to sink into
Characters don't have anything to make them REAL unique
Good
Graphics
Facial expressions inside finishers
The action is faster than it's predecessors
The combo's look okay
Characters get different combo's, giving them some variety
The Story Mode does have some good points, such as in game voices(and not being able to **** up the story by doing something completly out of the story(Like turning SSJ on Raditz with Goku cause you can)
A good DBZ game for fans
This game has some up and downs, and a lot of it depends if your a fan or not. If your looking for a fighting game, look elsewhere, especially with BL coming out soon.
I would say more, but I dun wanna
I'm giving this one a 7.4/10

Are you reviewing the Wii or PS2 version?

damn
I forgot to mention, I'm taking the Online Part from other Wii users, I myself have played the PS2 version, and have frankly not given a crap about Disc Fusion.

I agree with you on most points in your review except these 2. I'm not saying you are wrong or anything and I'm not a dbz fanboy zealously defending his obsession. They are just points I wanted to discuss with people.
First, there is plenty of depth. Even just in melee you'll find out certain rush techniques are more effective than others. This link explains the differences: http://www.ataricommunity.com/forums/showthread.php?t=635352 . Then comes trying to max out the number of attacks you can get before your opponent is forced away. There is even a certain combo string that ends with your opponent within melee range, with his back to you, and you still have the frame advantage ( how unfair is that? . .. im not talking about rolling hammer).
Concerning character differences, there are some very different characters in the game. The only problem being its more like a mechanical difference rather than differing combat styles. I don't think many people figured out that EVERYONE possessed the components necessary to create a brick wall. What made a character actually become a brick was when an overwhelming defense rating went against an attack. Every character had an "imbedded" attack rating ( not dmg rating ) and defense rating ( not dmg reduction) that determined whether or not the opponent flinched from attack. This is just one example of how characters were different.
But now I agree with you. This two spots definitely needed to be on the bad side. At high end, the game is broken and loses its fun. Developers didn't think hard enough about how to make fair AND INTERESTING advanced combat. Characters are not incredibly different, but they are unique to themselves though the difference cannot be casually percieved ( which kinda defeats the purpose of making them different in the first place ).
My Review:
I think this game is best played at mid-skill level. Learning the game sucks, and high-end play can become a battle of knowledge ( and connection speed ) and possibly lose a bit of skill in the process.

LOL did you actually read my post? Anything has depth. Even a shallow mind : ) The depth it has I dont like. SO GOOD SIR!! I say to you: Immerse yourself in this game! Stand knee high in toilet water!
. . . hmmm. . . if you still have this game and you have a good online connection, we should fight a few matches : ) If this game has no depth, skill or knowledge shouldn't really play any role in determining the victor. Put our beliefs to the test. . . . even though i mostly agree with you.

Ignore, ntk.ne0, he has been banned anyway and he is a Tenkaichi hater.

ahh bummer. I was really looking forward to attempting to make him look stupid. If he was a hater, he probably didn't play the game much anyhow.
