I used some texture already from sketchup, but the file types are skm. how do i get them to png or another image type? I googled it and found nothing
please help

its possible by right clicking on the textures and exporting them i believe but it is much easier and better quality of you use textures of your own, especially becouse they all have to be to a power of 2 to import.

But when I export it i just shows a picture of the whole model.
I right clicked on the texture, click export 2d graphic and it came out as just the whole model

use one of your own textures then.. you have to right click on the the texures in the texture window, not file-->export -->2d graphic

EDIT: the only 2 options that come up are delete and add texture to model
anyone got see through net textures?

stu, I right clicked on the texture image but I'm not able to click on export texture image, do you know what I should do to be able to click it?

Ok i figured it out! you rock stu!!!!
one last thing, how do you reduce the face count? if you can, should i just cut my object in half?

to reduce the face count type the number of sides you want on curved lines or circles just before you place them the number should come up in the bottom right of the screen, then press enter, sides should be 12-->3 sides..

Here's a picture of my screen, can anyone see why it's not letting me click it? What do I need to do to be able to export the texture?
